eh I know it's just business, it's just an inconvenience like you said. But my theory is that, I signed a contract, and I think that if a company is going to buy out another company they should respect the contracts that are already in motion and wait until the contracts run out before they make you sign up for a new plan. but I don't know, maybe there are reasons that can't work.
