It's been a whhooolleee month ;o
May was insane for me, really..
Then again, I'm pretty sure no one reads my blog except xemjayx.. who just texted me to go fucking bowling.
Eff that! I hate bowling
Anyway, May...may... Well, Opeth was incredible. They did play Ghost of Perdition like I wanted (finally) and I completely 'lost my shit' as my friend, Andrew, would put it.
Not only that, but it was just Opeth and Enslaved playing... Enslaved put on a 45 minute set, and Opeth put on a two and a half hour set. PLEASE, BLOW MY MIND EVEN MORE.
The shitty part of it was that.. the ONE time I plan on buying a zip up hoodie at a concert (last time I did, my friend bought it for me, and that was at Kataklysm and Eluveitie in November), it's $75. Really? 75 bones... last time it was 40..
Well, I was still contemplating on buying it. Andrew and RL Friend Christ (his friend... Chris.. long story) were trying to discourage me... they ended up winning, but not because of the reason you think..
"Hey, you got any Mediums in the hoodie?"
"No, only XL and XXL"
"...Do you have ANYTHING in medium?"
"No.."
Well.. yeah
Ended up just ordering the same hoodie online. *shrugs*. Should come in the next week or so... and I'm a little nervous considering this is the first time I bought something online :3
...
Anyway..
Matthew came here for a week. I love seeing him. My head spins when I hug him. It's a completely different world when he's around.
We also went to the zoo and saw a baby monkey pee on an adult monkey.
I has picture
Maybe I'll add them when I find my USB plug for my camera.
*sigh* I miss him.
On a happier note, Angus is back, which means I can get my tattoo done, finally. Omg... just gotta make some modifications first.
EXCITED. WEEEE

That's it, I guess. As I said, xemjayx is probably the only person who reads my blogs, so.. Maris, Hi, I still have Mr. Asia's DvD. Hahahaha. ...

Today is Sunday, tomorrow is Monday, and after that it's Tuesday.
Monday means exactly a week before Opeth.
Tuesday means Paganfest
Excitement!
As I sit here listening to Opeth, I realized that not ONLY do I want to hear Ghost of Perdition, but also Harvest.
Harvest has been literally the song of the month for me. I cannot stop listening to it. If I'm listening to something else, no matter the band or song, I'll be playing Harvest in my head. It is starting to become one of my all time favorites by Opeth.
Anyway...
I was talking to xemjayx earlier this morning, and I decided that I'm going to start drawing up my next tattoo.
Oh, but I will be finishing my viking one first. Angus comes back in June, huzzah!
Basically it's going to look like some sort of vine, except it'll have faces/forms of animals on the brink of extinction.
I love animals. I'm not a vegetarian or anything like that, but it always breaks my heart to hear of any type of creature disappearing forever, or about to.
Personally, I can't wait to have a tattoo of a rhino
The placement of it is yet to be determined. Probably on my leg or something like that.
Busy, busy time in May. A couple weeks until my giant comes. I can't wait. It's been so hard to breathe without him.
Idun signing off.

Soooo
I'm at my mother's place all week. No car, and it's a $20 cab ride to the nearest bus stop.
The pups is here with me, and I know he's JUST as bored as I, since my mother's backyard isn't fenced off, so I can't just let him roam outside.
What I've done since I've been here:
-Watched You Don't Mess With the Zohan (Bad movie
)
-Watched 5 episodes of In Treatment, which is actually a pretty good show
-Watched 28 Days with Sandra Bullock
-Watched Thirteen Ghosts
I love TMN and MPIX on demand for free.
I also ordered in from some random Thai restaurant. Lots of mussels = Yum yum. Though one of the dishes was a bit too spicy, and it took me about an hour to eat the whole thing. >_<
Otherwise, I'm bored out of my skull. If anyone has any suggestions of how to kill it (via online flash games or otherwise) feel free to let me know.
omg my pups is so cute <3

Bleh. I'm sick.
Feels like some kind of flu, but one can never be too sure.
Tomorrow will be April, which means only one more month, and I get to see him again. I miss him. Worst of all, he has my computer
, but I truly do want him more.
::sigh::
I made a huge ass of myself on Friday night. I didn't mean to drink that much, but I did. You know when you get to the point where you go to read a text message, and you have to close one eye and squint to read it? That's where I was.
Ouf.

Yesterday was a glorious day!
Alestorm, Suidakra, and Tyr. Could you ask for anything else?
Jamie came to pick me up with a carload of people. I had to sit between two 'mini-giants' as I called it.. very squishy in the back, and a hurtin' hour drive to Toronto.
We park outside of The Opera House, and what is it I see? Jamie pull out a 40 of Captain Morgan.
"In celebration of us seeing Alestorm!"
If you don't know Alestorm, it is a pirate metal band
, and one of their songs is called Captain Morgan's Revenge..
So we get drunk. Quite obvious...
Opening bands, Death March and another band.. I don't know what their name is, but the lead guitar was some chick who, I guess, tried to look like an elf. She was really fucking good.
Death March..heh... now, if anyone ever sees them, which I highly doubt, that is possibly the worst portrayal of the Hamilton metal scene. They're bad. I remember the singer coming to local shows at The Home and The Underground with an anti nazi patch on his coat, yet wear red laces on his docs. I KNOW RIGHT.
I kept flipping him off the whole time. Apparently he recognized me, but that's hardly something to brag about.
Aaaaaaanyway... my friends and I were fortunate enough to be right up against the stage, literally at the foot of the band members, right in the center. Suidakra, fuck is that singer ever hot. They were amazing. Bought some new gear of theirs.. on the back it states "I only answer with my blade." Tough as shit, I say!
Steve kept going to the bar, ordering like..4 beers, and sneaking them back to us in the front since there was only one designated area for drinking. I love Steve. :>
I don't even know how to describe Alestorm. The energy I felt during their set, especially during the songs Nancy the Tavern Wench and Wenches and Mead, was almost comparable to seeing Blind Guardian... ALMOST, since no man nor beast could measure up to Blind Guardian..
These guys only have one album out, and they act like they've made 7. Got to chat with the singer while Tyr was playing. Cool fucking guy, and awesome accent.
Just wish I had my sketch book.
!!!!
Tyr.. I like them. They're good, but after Alestorm, I was wiped out. Ended up having a couple beers and hanging out with my friend who looks straight out of Finland. Hottest guy I've ever met in my life.
Super long blog, amirite? Here's a couple pictures of us before and after.

Hrm!
I call my house, my roommate says "Your tickets are here."
I get him to open the mail, and it's, as I expected, my Opeth tickets.
I squealed like a little girl who got a pony for her 8th birthday.
I've seen them 3 times now, and I made a promise to myself that until I hear that ONE song live, I will keep attending their concerts until I hear it... not that I mind seeing them multiple times... but it'll burn a hole in my pocket eventually.
Since I have a feeling that they will not be playing it again in May, I decided to write Santa to see if he could pull some strings.
Dear Santa -
How's it going? How's the Mrs.? Hope she's doing alright, and you're not making her work to hard on them cookies.
I wanted to thank you for letting my credit card go through on those Opeth tickets that I ordered, but there's a small favor I need to ask of you, even though I'm a bit early for Christmas.
On May 4th, I will need you to use your super awesome Santa powers on Opeth to make them play Ghost of Perdition live. If you want to throw in some sex from Mikael Ã…kerfeldt, that would be great, but it is not necessary.
Thanks, man. See you in a few months.
Sincerely,
Me!
I hope this works..
Here's the version of the song from their live album "The Roundhouse Tapes" for whoever bothers to listen. Apparently, it's incredibly difficult to find the album version of this song on youtube >_o

First official blog...thing.
Have I ever mentioned that I didn't like the word blog?... I guess not, since this is, of course, my first post.
Well, I joined last night in a drunken stupor. Thanks Maris. -_-
Guess I'm supposed to tell you about my day, right?
Here it goes..
I had to bring my pups to the vet today. Now, let me clarify that I only have one dog, and I call him pups. His name is The Little Guy. He's also not a puppy. People get confused about this..
He has some kind of growth in his mouth. I always get uneasy about bringing him to the vet. He gets nervous, freaks out a little, and sheds on my clothes so much >_<

^
Him ready to leave. I bus it everywhere, so he got a nice walk out of it. He was getting impatient with me while I was putting my shoes on.. -_-
Anyway, turns out it's not that serious, but it still needs to be removed.
I go to wait at the front desk for an estimate (pretty much small fortune, by the way) on the operation, and the receptionist calls me up. "That'll be $72.45."
...
What?
Just for talking to the guy? He didn't even TOUCH my dog! I had to open my dog's mouth for him and everything! Consultation my ass.
I know I have to pay for his time, but holy fuck. Considering I'm not a rich mother fucker, I was pretty pissed.
Still, I grumbled and swore under my breath and handed them my oh so evil credit card.
It's all worth it in the end though. My pups is cute <3
