My novel of speculative fiction--"Maximum Security--The Mojave Project"--has just been posted. And the reviewer sort of got the intent...and gave it a good to very good review. I wanted to present a fantasy of a high-tech prison that would be the top of a new program to treat inmates in a more humane manner, and deal more effectively with their behavior.
So, I'm ready to market the story as I work on manuscript number two. "Pleasure Hunter"--The Adventures of Kathy Smart" will be complete by year's end and had comedic overtones within a story that deals with a woman who is insatiable and torn by her perceived shortcomings. The ending has her comeuppance as a consequence of her singular focus on sexual gratification. More will await the reader, as I polish a story of a very bright woman who feels superior to her co-workers and veils her insecurities and rabid hunger for raw sex from nearly everyone in her circle of friends and associates.

I'm so busy, not enough hours in a day, nor enough time to use. Working full time+ is very taxing, but I go on. I have finished a revision of my first novel and it will be out soon. It is called "Maximum Security--The Mojave Project" and is Aci-Fi. This is a prison complex of the future, where California's most violent inmates are given more humane treatment and their behavior is controlled. Our state prison system is a mess and prompted me to write a critique of this monstrosity.
My second novel is one I put aside and should be complete in a year. It is the story of a deeply flawed and very intelligent woman who is interested in only one "sport" and pursues men in a cleverly orchestrated game. A woman who read what was then the first chapter commented that "This is just like my best friend..." And I found that very satisfying! To be able to write an adult novel from a woman's perspective is a real thrill in itself. And to write anything is an adventure that I find more challenging than anything else I've ever done! I try to write on a high level of quality and character development, because much of the fiction I read is boring and shallow! What a trip!
