As much as I enjoy this site and I will be leaving soon. Seems my yearly fees are up and I just dont get on here as much any more. Spent the day walking around a couple different provincial parks today - always makes for a great day
Been awhile - hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Mine has been crazy busy! My daughter turned 11 a couple days ago and my son is 13 next week - oh how the time flies...Guess this means I am getting old as well.
So glad that long hot weekend of working nights is over - what a busy weekend. I am exhausted.
Got home from work about an hour and a half ago, ripped off my clothes and jumped in the pool - apparently a morning skinny dip is as good as an afternoon one - having a quick beer then off to bed (hope you dont mind this is typed naked- too damn hot outside)
Had a great time up at Miller Lake and Cyprus Lake - will definitely being going back there next year for a week.

Had a FANTASTIC weekend up in the Kawartha Lakes area at a buddies house on Pigeon Lake. Lots of fun and sun. THe drinks did not stand a chance. Was able to get both kids up water skiing after some minor coaching - what a thrill watching them accomplish something that they were both nervous about. They also got to fly for the 1st time in a friends floater plane - neither could stop smiling after. I took quite a few photos and will add some soon - maybe this weekend. Got home last night - the pool had been covered with the solar blanket the entire weekend and was 91....felt like a bath. Both dogs wanted to swim bad any way and the 3 of us had a quick dip (I added a couple photos to my "Pic" album of me and the dogs)
Just packing the trailer now as we are heading up to the Tobermory area for 3 days - I love Cyprus Lake - and hope to take a lot of photos there.

Went to Ball's Falls in Vineland Ontario yesterday just to enjoy the outdoors for the afternoon.
