The main plot centers around the main character, Emily, and her journey through adulthood. She was separated from her childhood love, John, when she was still very young. The one thing her heart most desires is to just be reunited with her true love once more.

That's it in a nuttshell. The story has action, adventure, friendship, strong female role-models (at least, I think so), and above all else, love.
