There are a lot of men out there who either lie, cheat or abuse the woman he is with. I've never understood how a a man can call himself a man after something like that. What sucks is that these douchebags make it that much harder for those men out there who actually live for the thrill of being loved. I'm here to say that, not every man out there is the same as the other. That's more of a gender generalization. The truth is, anyone can be a complete dick or have a heart of gold. Gender plays no part in that.

As for me, well, I can only speak for myself. I have never had a girlfriend, nor have I had ever had anyone who was in love with me (as far as I know), but I do know one thing. I would love the hell out of my girlfriend. I would treat her like a queen, massage her feet, cook for her, keep the house clean and in general, just do what I think any respectful man should do. Women do not deserve to be used, abused or neglected. Nor do they deserve be be lied to, cheated on or made to feel unimportant. Same goes for men.

I never understood the whole "battle of the sexes" thing. We are all people who deserve to be loved and respected. Gender should never play a part in the determination of what an individual deserves. That person should just be treated like a human and receive every right that makes them human.
