School is going well so far, but I still can't wait for it to be over. Or can I? The Ohio job market is... not robust.

My internship this quarter is exciting so far. On I'm on a script team for a Dr. MLK Jr. Day celebration that Columbus has held every year for the better part of two decades. We're exploring lesser-known words of Dr. King and trying our best to surprise the audience and make them think about the universality of Dr. King's legacy.

That is the job of the moderators. You are one of the biggest board cops out there...and it's rather annoying. If it's a violation of TOS....Mods will handle it.

I don't see it as calling you out. Remember back in grade school...when someone would be talking in class....and another kid would yell "SHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!". And the "SHH" would actually be more disruptive than the kid talking in class?

I was more responding in confusion to the "You realize that set is pretty much "all of it," right?" -- whereas the controversial data tweaking inthe emails was about a particular set of tree-ring data used as proxies for historical temperature measurement, so I was scratching my head going "... all of it?"

As for GBV -- yes, somehow I stumbled on to that video (of the Breeders' cover) via a blog site I found when I was searching around for info on a South American tribute compilation to GBV that I think someone might have referenced on the Music board here some time. So in terms of weird international linkages to a local phenomenon ... figure that one out!
