Well I loved the Marilyn Manson / Rob Zombie Twins of Evil show, it was totally epic and really a great stage show as well as incredible songs and performance.
There were about 3 songs I would have liked to hear from Zombie which he did not do and about 20 songs from Manson I wanted to hear live but he has so many great songs, he cant play them all I guess.
Fear Factory stole the show for me with their concert, it was a smaller venue but it was rammed. I loved that show and again there was so many more songs I would have loved to hear but they played some of my absolute faves and it shows why they are one of my best bands of all time.
Devin Townsend was also great, his voice is just power itself and his stage presence is seemingly effortless for him. Again I would have loved him to play some of the old SYL stuff but it was brill.
Anyway, after seeing so many other good shows in 2012 as well, I am very with that year. Now onto 2013 and already I am set to go see Deftones, which will be the 2nd time I get to see them as I last saw them in Indonesia a few years back. Now I have to say they are one of the best bands ever and I did not think they could match their last album but they did, check out this vid if you dare:
Also a cool song from AVx7 which featured on Black Ops 2, which I am still playing on my Xbox 360.
What I am really into though as well is the Transformers Fall of Cybertron game on my PS3, the trailers below:
This one I love cos it shows Grimlock doing his thing
This one is cool though as it shows the Dinobots fighting Bruticus

My girlfriend is working hard on my tattoo designs, but still a lot more to do. I imagine it's going to take a fair bit longer before we are in any position to go see an artist although we do have some in mind at least now.
I am still totally in love with Menessxo and hoping she will marry me and my girlfriend.
Also I am really hoping a new business venture will take off but we will see.
Here is some cool tunes to keep you motivated

Well the wedding of my father and his fiancée is complete. Things are going back to normal.
I have just got both my earlobes pierced again so they have 2 bcr's in each lobe now.
I have also just got the new iPad which is great for browsing sg with. I am still getting used to it though.
Really loving the new Emmure, Meshhugah and paradise lost albums. I just went to see parkway drive as well and they are amazing live.

I am truly gutted about the news that road runner have been closing down offices around the world, it's a real blow to the metal world and losing the uk office is just a true disappointment for everyone associated with the scene.
On a positive note, I have ordered the ik media irig which should be loads of fun.

Hey all,
I have been mad busy with my fathers wedding but thought I would do a quick post on here with some links to some album reviews and articles I have been doing for Dose Of Metal.
Review for Judas Priest's debut album - Rocka Rolla
SOPA & PIPA from a Metal Heads position

Well Machine Head and Devil Driver were awesome. I was not much on BMTH but neither was the rest of the crowd for that matter, its all this dub stuff that seems to have found its way into Metal lately and most of us metalheads are just not into it.
I was gutted to hear that Howard Jones has left Killswitch Engage, he is such an awesome singer. This interview with him is very funny though
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOFthXsqubA
Its been a mad year end, work, family gatherings, moving house, its all been happening.
But I am guessing that things will get either easier or more difficult in 2012, lets hope for the positive

The Sylosis concert was ace, in support was Malefice and they were pretty awesome too.

It was a good night, we had already ate a lovely Chinese from our fave restaurant in the city prior to the show and now we were right in the mood for some metal

Been a while since I posted so bout time I did again. Sadly my account expired and I did not get around to re-enlisting for the front line of SG till recently, whoops!
Anyways I have been having a cool time, I went to the Gamefest which is the UK's biggest gaming event at the NEC in Birmingham, it was awesome, we got to play Battlefield 3 and was sneaked past the queue which was very cool but somewhat naughty as it was a 3 hour queue.....hehehehe
There was some real cool stuff there, see pics below: This first one is the Sith boss from the Old Republic game just out from Lucas Arts.

This is of the peeps queueing around the new Ghost Recon game stand.

This is a photo of Nat by the Zelda statue, for those of you who have not played that game.

This is me with the very sexy furries girls mmmmmm

This is Nat with a lady dressed as what looks a bit like Bayonetta but I think she is from the latest Final Fantasy.

And this as I am sure you all recognise is Sonic and Mario!

He is my good self by the Sith Lord, so cool! I love Star Wars.

Well I am off to Sylosis tonight so I will no doubt post some pics and give ou guys the lowdown soon xxx

I have moved house. Been a hard time with just getting back from working in Denmark and then getting sick with a throat and ear infection and moving house in those circumstances but its done.
Now I am just living out of boxes till I can unpack and find a new home for all my belongings.
To be honest I am shocked how many possessions I actually own. Its staggering to think I have filled a small house when I was basically living in one room before.
At least now I have my own space and thats important for my sanity and privacy. Being summer I want to be out with friends having fun rather than working on the house, but I dont have much choice, tonight I am gonna get the oven installed. I have got some curtains up now, but need to put up more plus blinds.
I also need to get the wardrobe sorted out, its fitted but the studding was all wrongly configured so need to deal with that soon, maybe on the weekend.
Anyways, hope everyone is doing well - keep being sexy people

Possibly moving house soon, so I am gonna be real busy for a while, its a stressful process but its not like I am not used to it by now.
Anyway I am thinking how bad things are for the poor folks in Libya these days, getting stuck in the middle of the fighting, not getting enough aid and its not likely to end soon
My heart goes out to them.
I have been watching a movie called Machete which is pretty violent but also funny and entertaining in its own way. It is nice to see some Latin American actors getting bigger roles. Even if it inst a huge production. But there is some sexy parts in it.
Here is the trailer: machete_movie_trailer
I also have just finished watching "Diary of a London Call Girl" which is pretty sexy stuff and based on reality as well.
Here is a trailer for it: secret_diary_of_a_call_girl_trailer
Anyways, till next time, have fun and prosper

Got my right earlobe pierced and its been a few days now, so far so good. I am digging it and its not really hurting, I just notice its a little tender when I clean it, but I expect that to carry on for a while till its fully healed up.
Anyway, I am all set to go to Amsterdam in August and just need to book the time off work, should be hearing about the cabin confirmation on the camp site shortly. Then I need to start making arrangements for the download and Sonisphere Festivals, I am so damn excited about them. Its gonna be so epic to see so many amazing bands all playing some of my favourite tunes, the main issue is cost and time off work but I think I am going to be ok.
Still recovering from my holiday financially but it was nice and now I have a lot to look forward to, so its keeping me relatively positive, despite the news I might lose my job, which kinda sucks, with the redundancies going round I suppose its going to continue every year till finally its my turn. It just sucks after 9 years of working in the same place, I am settled and dont want the hassle, but lets see how it goes.
On a more positive note, I am going to the black country metal event in West Bromwich weekend after next, hopefully it will be fun and should be something to remember. I am planning to go to the Subculture Club in Birmingham this weekend, so that should be nice, just need to make it through the next couple days. Friday I am supposed to be going to do a pub quiz, I have never done one before but this is to support cancer research which I am totally in favour of, so I am seeing this an important cause as well as something nice to do .
Its a real shame seeing the news and how people have been impacted in Japan, its just another example of how fragile life is and how none of us know whats round the corner, we have to take each day as it comes and always be thankful of the love we get from others, it could be the last thing that happens to us. It also makes me think how important it is to treat other people well too, appreciate them while we can
Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope everyone is doing well xx
