NEW POST!

I work at an engineering firm in Birmingham now. My apartment is insanely sweet and I am as of now still looking for shit to do, people to meet, etc.

Money is awesome (ya), but I have to be at work at 6:45 everyday (what the god-damned fuck).

I'm going through the interview process with Halliburton to get a job as a field engineer working the oil fields.

I could think of nothing I'd want to do less, but a year or so of that and I could probably find something a lot more interesting, and I'm getting desperate for a real job here.

Why oh why, did I major in engineering? Ah well. Always hope I'll stumble on something more interesting soonish.

Here's something from the phone interview I had today. She asked me "What major failure have you rebounded from in your life, please be specific."

I was dumbfounded, I'm fucking twenty-two. What major failures could I have possibly encountered in my life as of yet? I gave her some BS on learning from mistakes, and I've got a silver tongue in situations like that, but what the hell kind of foolish question is that.

I think I'll start posting in this more to keep myself alive. Maybe something intriguing will crop up, who knows.

I'm reading Dhalgren, which laughs in the face of reality; My mind is a twice moonlit catastrophe.

My one blog post was ancient, and needed revamping. This one will be no different--most likely I will not see it again for months--but whatever.

I'll just have to be content with sitting and waiting for a revolution.

I didn't have a journal entry.
