I'm starting to think I should discover religion.
Not sure which one...but I know this going through life believing in nothing shit is getting me NOWHERE.
It's funny...I make fun of hardcore Christians for following what I feel is a ridiculous religion full of hypocrisy and flaws...and yet most of the ones I know are successful and happy in their lives.
Meanwhile, I am miserable and all around hopeless.
So yeah, I am starting to think there may be something to this whole "God" or "Gods" thing.

Plus...I just feel like something is missing in my life.
Like I said though...the hard part will be finding a religion I can agree with and stick to.
I have researched Asatru a bit (Norse religion) and I have several books on it, so I think I will actually read those books and see how I like it.
I was drawn towards Native American beliefs for a while, but I felt kinda wrong. I'm the whitest white guy I know...and claiming I followed the Native American path just seemed...well...wrong.
It doesn't help that I am directly related (my grandfather's Great uncle) to John Mason from Mystic, CT....who led the U.S Army in what was to be known as the "Great Pequot Massacre" where the army damn near extincted the tribe.
Yeah.
So research shall be done and I will see if I can find a religion I like.
It's time for me to believe in something.

I used to study Religion pretty extensively, if you tell me what you don't like (or what you do) I could probably give you some pointers into which kind(s) to check out. 
Personally, I kinda dig Hinduism and some of the Native American stuff, but the Scandinavian ones are brutal and the Babylonian ones are the oldest. Do you like light and happy or dark and vengeful?

It sounds like you already believe in a God, if you're considering religion. btw..you don't need religion to believe in a god. Spirituality and religion are two different sectors of the universe. Good luck though
