HOLY SHITNARDS!
NO MATTER WHAT the Flames fans are saying to the news the numbers show it. THE ARENA IS SELLING OUT!. Ive been watching the interviews and Facebook posts about people boycotting the NHL this year but today tickets went on sale for majority of the NHL Games at the Flames home turf and within minutes the Detroit games was almost sold out. The only thing left is a handful of random single seats.
I luck out because one of my best friends owns seats in the Platinum Box. I watch loads of the home games for free because his company has seats in there and also in the corporate section ice side. The Plat Box is where they also sit celeb's when they are in town to watch the games. I've sat with Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, The Prime Minister, LOADS of old school hockey players like Otto, MacDonald, Vernon just to name a few. It's also where I saw Yzerman and almost died that I met my Hockey Hero.
I wanted to get tickets to the second Detroit game because ironically my sisters boyfriend and my model Honz is a die hard wings fan. SO THIS TIME I WONT BE THE ONLY WINGED WHEEL IN MY SEA OF RED! Picked up four seats in the second level because that was all I could get.
CAN SATURDAY COME ANY FASTER!??!?!?
Many of you have been reading my blog over the years and probably know about Leo. My friend was murdered in Thailand by a off duty police officer. This made INTERNATIONAL news and the murderer was let out of jail two years after his death because the jail was too full. This dirtbag piece of shit went on to murder his pregnant girlfriend and is now back in jail and we are still waiting for Justice For Leo.
Leo was a hippy. He loved everyone, everything and always talked about peace and love. He was obsessed with Pantera, Red Wings (probably why I loved him so much), dancing and The Misfits.
This 4/20 we are putting on a show for our dear friend.... not only that.. we effing got MICHALE GRAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This poster was made by my friend Marshalsay and I cant wait for this show. We use to put on the Alberta Hardcore Metal Festival every year and this is def going to bring back memories.
RIP my friend. You passed away too early but the thing is I know on your anniversary you were one of the reasons that the NHL is back. You were a die hard fan and the fact it was settled finally on your anniversary just speaks mountains to me.
