YAWN........
Boy I've been going like a mad woman. Working non stop but its going to be paying off because in a little over a month I'll be on Maui!
So I am crushed. You see I get married in a month to the love of my life. Two of my Bridesmaids gave me stories about why they could not go. First one said "I've used up all my holidays at work" then last month was in Phoenix. Then the other one "I just had a baby and we need all the money for the family so we can't travel" Okay that is fine I understand family is first.. then she booked Dubai for 3 weeks... OVER MY STAGETTE and SHOWER which are both here in Calgary before I go.
It kills me to think these two were my best friends for the past ten years. I have organized several parties for the birthday's for my "best friends" and one of them got married just two years ago.. which I was in the wedding party, booked off the whole month of her wedding and personal planned and paid for the stagette.
Now last week I had a few emails and phone calls from my girls saying "Hey listen.. I got a bridal shower invite from your sister but nothing for the stagette? what is going on?"
I emailed both the girls asking what was going on because this summer they bitched out my sister for trying to take over everything and wanted some task.. Jess gave them the stagette. NO ONE FUCKING BOOKED A THING! this is during the Christmas rush also.. so shit should of been booked over a month ago.
Instead of being the bigger person and apologizing for not planning anything for me they turned around and bitched out my sister... that is my fucking blood for christ sakes. I said "Do you realize if I did not have a sister that nothing would of been planned for me". Still no apology and more finger pointing.
So Friday Night I spent my night booking and planning my own stagette. I knew this was going to happen. If I dont plan the party it does not get done.
My eyes are now open and I don't think I will ever forgive those two for the hurtfulness of not attending a wedding nor spending the time to plan it. I can't believe when it was finally my turn to be the Bride and have a red carpet laid out I am treated like nothing special and no one can be bothered.
I JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER..... ITS ABOUT MY DAY AND I KNOW I AM GOING TO LOVE HAVING MY WEDDING IN MAUI.
I am hosting a party in Cowtown. Were bringing up the IMPLANTS from LA. I have tix for these so if any of you local Calgarian's want to come message me and I'll get you the tix. Very affordable at $15
