So the release party was a total success! we had the bar full!
So thank you for everyone who came out or sent wishes from a-far!
Right now I'm trying to play catch up after I spent my day in the hospital. I've been feeling really sick for a long time and never really told anyone about it. I went to see a Doctor last summer at the walk in by my house and he told me I'm just stressed out and I am experiencing migraines. So months went by and the crazy head pounding went on and got worse... I then started to loose feeling in my arms and hands and temporary blindness.
I had my worst episode to date yesterday and could barely see. I suffer from transitional vertigo so I thought all the dizzy spells and sight troubles were from that so I went to see my family doctor and he ran tests over me. He then sent me to the emergency for a spinal x-ray and blood. I'm getting tested for a whole wack of scary stuff but my Doctor thinks it could be trauma from my accident. Back in my early 20's I was side swiped on the highway during and ice storm and it pretty much totaled my jeep and sent me spiraling across traffic and backwards into the ditch. My spinal cord into my skull was twisted the wrong way and I spent two years in physio and chiropractic care. The worst part.. I got hit 5 days after Alberta put a cap on what you could sue for... you basically have to be carried in an ambulance to get any real money. I got a settlement of merely $3,000 from my boyfriend's insurance that barely covered my first year care. So now they think it's still trauma from that and if that is the case I need surgery.. two other possibilities are diabetes and the dreaded C-word. All three of those things if any are caught early enough to fix so I am not too worried. I just need to find out the problem so I can have a solution because I am sick of being tired and sick and in pain. But if nothing comes up then I go back to the drawing bored for more testing.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week and enjoying the first day of spring.
