Know what heavy bleeding for 17 days gets you? Anemia. And what comes with that? Extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, etc. It also gets you a hormone shot to stop the bleeding, bruises cus my body is weak, bloodwork, missed school, missed burlesque class and a lot of people worried. They say it could be a couple weeks before my red blood count is healthy again. Now to sleep, cus I'm exhausted after a couple hours. Sigh.

17 days of bleeding seems like a pretty sizable blood loss for anyone. It will probably take at least a week or so before you're feeling better and then a couple more before you're back to normal.

Did the doctor tell you to consider taking iron supplements? With that amount of blood loss there is also a good amount of iron going out with it, and depending on how your stores are doing a boost might be needed.
