Today I went and got my 4th tattoo, I liked my new artist and I feel he did a great job.


I have been wanting to get an Assassins Creed tattoo, but I never really felt there was one that jumped out at me. Then they released the new info for Black Flag and an icon that is a cross between assassin and pirate is pretty bad ass.

Ah, the one thing I don't want to ever do is the one thing I have to do now. Since I was a young kid I have always hated people messing with my mouth. This lead to a strong dislike of going to the dentist, that and seeing the movie The Dentist as a kid didn't help matters, you take that and top it off with not the best care being taken adds up to nearly 20 years of not seeing one. Well it has finally caught up to me I know I have a few broken teeth that I need capped or removed as well as several cavities. The one thing that has finally gotten my ass into gear on my dental health is we recently got my wife's dental work done and damn it I don't want to be the hypocrite that tells her to do better and not do better myself. Yesterday I went in for an examination so they could get an idea of what needs to be done, the entire time I felt like the scolded child sitting in the principal's office waiting to be scolded some more. Well its going to take several visits and the dentist joked that we are going to get to know each other well, but I am at least going to get it all fixed and worked out in the long run.

So vacation is coming to an end, it has been pretty nice. Got to hang out with friends, did some extra spending, got my wife a new tattoo, went to see both Jack Reacher and Les Misérables. (Really enjoyed both films)

Beyond that my wife and I started George St. Pierre's Rush Fit exercise program, so far feels good I have muscles that ache from finally being used. Just 4 days in and I already feel like it is more of a work out for me than the 2 months of P90X that a friend and I had started (had to stop because of moving). Still to early to tell how much my body will change, one thing that will make it a slower process is I don't plan on massive changes to how I eat. Just going to cut back how much I eat each meal as well as add a breakfast bar and snacks between breakfast lunch and dinner. (going to get fruits and veggies for the snacks)

Work is not being looked forward too, I know I am ready to go back but damn the sleep I have been getting this week has been nice. The bonus to going back to work is I will become more active than I have this week, which will help the new work out routine.

Also this week I pre-ordered the new Tomb Raider and Army of TWO games coming out in March. Those will both be pretty fun from what I have seen on them. That and super excited for the new GTA, I hope they fix the few issues I had with 4.

So its the new year and the world didn't end big shocker.

I just recently got back into playing both Swtor and Wow, my console gamine is currently on pause. Next game that I am super excited for is the new GTA, I just hope its better than GTA 4 was.

Work is great right now, it is now day 2 of vacation, plan on seeing Django Unchained in a day or so, and getting my wife her new tattoo done.

On podcasts I just finished the back log to Skeptics with a K, and now have started listening to Inkredulous. After that I will listen to Irreligiosophy.

Well just felt like updating a little about what I am up too, will probably post again later in the week.

So I thought I'd take some time and do a quick post about one of the Podcast shows I listen too, more will come in the future.

Cognitive Dissonance

This one is a great weekly show done by two guys in the Chicago land area. Tom and Cecil are great, the are foul mouthed with a disturbed sense of humor. The way they look at it is, if they can't laugh at the situation that only leave anger (and there is just so much the fundies do to piss us all off). They are now up to 74 episodes as a free podcast, with a current Apocalypse without Borders drive to raise money to be donated December 22, 2012 to the Doctors without Borders Foundation. They do not apologize for the use of language, and are primarily a political, religion, skeptical, atheist show. You can check out their site HERE.

My name is Michael, I've been a member of SG for about a year now. Until now I haven't bothered too much with trying to blog or posting all that much in groups, never really felt I had much to say. So here goes some basic info about me. I have been married 6 years now, and have been at my job for 8 years. I am an avid gamer with xbox, ps3, and WoW. I also enjoy going to the gun range for recreational shooting with my friends and my wife. I also really enjoy seeing movies and various television shows, Netflix is amazing for the variety of stuff I like to see. As far as politics go I would say I am a weak libertarian. I am an Atheist, growing up I was told I was Christian because that is what my parents were.

Now that this inaugural blog has been made I do think I will continue, not sure what I plan to blog about maybe a little bit about everything I enjoy.
