Wow, it's been forever and a day since I updated this. So here's what's been going on in my life.

The band (Fire On The Mountain) is doing really well, we've been playing more regional shows lately and havin' a blast. Also, the solo stuff is comin' along really well, I got a couple solo shows comin' up that I'm really excited for.

In other news, I now have a new girlfriend.

AND.....

GASP.................

I'm not in school this semester because I'm a slack ass.

So more time for playin' shows and writing.

Well, that's about all, right now.

I'll really try to get better at this.

wow! sorry I took so long to update! I fuckin' suck at life, but I promise to start updating sooner.

ok...so here goes..
since the last update we've lost a guitar player....
but we picked up another so it's no problem.

Also I'm playing a show on the 29th with Christina Wagner. This will be an all acoustic show so if you're in the area come check it out.

Ok....So as some of you may have guessed, I'm currentlly reading "Half-Blood Prince" and loving it..... but since I can't figure out how to do the "spoiler alert" thing.....I won't write anything about it here...*sigh*....


In Other Blake news....

My Band, Fire on the Mountian, played a show at the Barn in Gainesville, FL last Friday. It went pretty well considering that it was our first show with the new lineup. BTW....we are a southern-rock tinged death metal band. Click the link at the bottom of the updateif you wanna hear it.

OK...So I've been watching CSI season 1 nonstop since peintedbat sent it too me! and I have to say, I'm really impressed!

Last night for independence day I went to a party at a friends house. I was the oldest person there by far! In fact...there was one girl there who was 17!!!!!!! whoaaaaa!!!!
anyway...I got drunk, went swimming in my jeans, got into a diving contest, and won it (sorta) by doing drunken backflips all over the lawn! hahahahaha man I love Jack Daniels.

Anyway....go see war of the worlds, and Batman Begins if you haven't seen it yet.

So last night I got bored watching tv and fucked around with my hair......

Also, I went and watched Land of the Dead on Friday.
I thought it was good, maybe not the masterpeice I thought it would be, but definately worth seeing.

I think I'm gonna have to start looking for another job because they've cut my hours back at work. Oh well, I just hope it pays alright!

ok ok........so it's been quite a while since my last update....sorry, I'm gonna try to go back to a couple a wekk.

OK...So lots of things have happened since I left my last entry. paintedbat came down FOR A WEEK! and of course it was everything I hoped and more. Now she's my canadian girlfriend. HELL YEAH! Also...she has short hair now.....which pretty much means that my girlfriend is the sexiest girl in the world! YAY!

*ahem*

today I went to McDonalds. I had a very nice quarter pounder with cheese PLAIN combo meal. I was on my way out the door headed back to work and the lady behind the counter stops me. (actually she just yelled "HEY" out the drive thru window). Then she says "DO YOU WANT THIS OREO McFLURRY? SOMEBODY JUST DROVE OFF!" so I says..."HELL YEAH!" and ran over to get it.

Moral of the story....
Sometimes there will be people in your life whose personal decisions will affect you....and when this happens....TAKE THEIR McFLURRY! IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Gonna be a pretty boring day today so I'm gonna try to make the best of it. I'm thinkin' I'll either watch the Darkest hour DVD or the Drive By Truckers DVD.....and eat PBJ's 'till my hearts content.....ahhh just a boring memorial day. On a brighter note I have transformed my desk into a nerd paradise! This involved moving my TV beside my computer monitor, Moving my PS2 in here, AND....finally getting rid of my broken ass computer chair and moving the good high backed-havin', armrest-sportin' leather model that my old roomate left, into my room! .........it's everything I thought it would be!

I swear to god that one of these days I'll make an interesting post...you have my word!

ok.......don't think I've posted this one yet....It's a picture of my grey hair (which I used to say was "Premature" but now in my mid-twenties I guess it's just about right

well I cleaned up my computer desk today......now it feels enormous....It had become overrun with beer bottles and empty mountain dew cans.but now it's clean(er). other than that I've just been sittin' around and listening to music. I listened to the new Weezer again....and the new Alkaline Trio...now I think it's time for a little Motorhead. So anyway...here is a picture of my desk
