Propaganda Remix Project
I've told you guys awhile ago about this project, which is actually a few years old, but I noticed recently that they put up new things in '06, which I hadn't noticed and this is one of those newer posters.
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret to the recipe for the world's best snack.
It's so simple yet so tasty that you'll come home every day and demand it as your after-school snack from Mom. It's time to grow up and give up that old boring milk and cookies routine anyway.

Ritz crackers
Mozzarella cheese, the good kind from the deli, sliced
Fresh basil
Tomato, sliced
Olive oil
Salt/Pepper
All you have to do is assemble these ingredients! Spread the crackers out on a plate, place slices of cheese on them, then tomato, then a basil leaf, then sprinkle a few drops of olive oil on each cracker and put as much or little salt and pepper as you'd like. It's so good I eat it for dinner sometimes!
These little crackers even look so put together, if you do it right, that it can be an hors 'doeuvre for some cute party you throw for friends or family.
Now I've gotten myself in the mood and am off to make a snack! Meet you in the kitchen!
First and foremost, Palaniuk's book Choke is gonna be a movie. If you haven't read the hilarious novel, then woes to you. But you can watch the trailer, either way.
And while in the car the other day, this wonderfully melodious voice came over the radio, the XM radio to specify, that captured me with a soft, simple tune that haunted my memory until I could get home to pull her up on the internet. Her name is Mariee Sioux and she's part of Grass Roots Records and includes Native American flute and percussion in her music. Check her out on MySpace:

I'm looking forward to this weekend so I can go out and spend money that I don't have on libations.

Hello SGLand! From Long Island. I've finally moved into my new place and have got all the luxurious ammendities of life, the most important being internet.
It's kind of lonely, being that I know no one in my new place, but give it time and I'm sure I'll be rubbing elbows with the best of 'em, here in NY.
And even better news is that I got a Graduate Assistanceship at my school! A job! Double yay!!
I'm gonna grab a quick nap before class later. Wish me luck!

It's official! I'm moving to Bethpage, NY on Long Island! I found a cute little place in a nice neighborhood that's relatively close to my school. I'm moving out of GA this weekend. I just hope my cats won't kill me on this 15-hour drive!!
I helped move my sister, Becky, this weekend. Not only that but I helped schlepp her stuff to two different locations because, long story short, she can't keep all her stuff at her new place because of spacial issues. So my parents have to keep her cat for a year til she gets a new place and her cat's a heinous bitch that dislikes all other animals, which we have two of, and she only acts like an "angel" when said animals aren't around, which is rarely ever. On top of that her cat is 15 lbs. when she should be 9 or 10 so she needs to be on a diet which is hard to do with two other animals in the same house, and who wants to baby-sit a cat's eating habits all day long?

I saw Be Kind Rewind the other day. It was cute and a little different than I expected it to be. I'd only recommend it to friends if they like the actors in the movie. I look forward to watching My Neighbor Totoro later. I'll probablly put Weeds Season 3 on my Netflix, seeing as how Season 2 left off on such a cliffhanger.

My boss told me the other day that her granddaughter doesn't get those Bratz dolls that are real popular now cause her Mom won't allow her. So she was looking at other dolls in the store that she was allowed to get and she told my boss that she wanted one with hair like mine, which is blue, teal & black, so she picked out a mermaid doll that had blue hair and she told my boss that she liked the doll cause it had hair like Elizabeth's. I've only ever seen the kid a handful of times, I didn't even realize she remembered my name!
So there it is folks, if you try hard enough you too can leave your taint on the youth of America.

I have fabulous news, my friends! I got an e-mail today with an unofficial acceptance to a school I applied to in Long Island, New York!
Goodbye Georgia! Hello New York!
I just have to be sure to find a place that'll take me AND my two kitties.
And on a lighter note:

Had a blast in Washington.
- Went to the coast, though it was miserable the whole time. It was overcast, 40 degrees, with a 10mph wind that chilled to the bone, but I am now able to brag that I've set foot on both the East and West coast.
- Visited Seattle twice: once to bar hop and see the tourist traps and the second to go to FolkLife, a hippie festival, which is a lot more fun than it sounds.
- Hit all the Dive Bars in Port Orchard, which included karaoke at the Chinese restaurant.
- Inteded to go to but ended up missing Singles' Bowling at Hi Joy Bowl, because of said Dive Bars.
- Went to a Slaughter County Roller Vixen derby practice because there were no bouts at the time of our vaykay.
- Bought as many souvenir postcards as I could get my hands on. If you'd like one, gimme your addy.
- And lastly, had my hair done by Megan at Sugar Daddy's Salon.

More photos are in a folder in my pics.
