Wow.. I need to update.

Lets see.... Nothing.

Wait... Yeah, Work is alright. No crazy folk tales to tell this time around though.

The band is going along well, we should really meet up for practice more though. We recorded some of our stuff and posted it on myspace. Some jammage that I can really be proud of too, but the recording is coming out kinda choppy. Fo Sho will give you guys the url in due time when the fidelity of the track is to my liking.

What kind of secrets do you have?

Who the fuck came up with the idea of making Smirnoff tea? I was browsing the liquor store while I waited for a pizza today and noticed what I would have to assume is a terrible tasting drink that has all the health benefits of tea nullified by some tasty vodka. Am I wrong?

Tea Partay?

In better news, I may just have the chance to see a van halen concert that doesnt suck in my lifetime. Heres to hoping it isnt gonna set me back eleventy billion dollars. smile

Today was a good day disguised as a terrible day. cant say that I have had one of those before.

- Was going to jam with the band today. Didnt. Lameness on my part. Well maybe tomorrow.
Really excited where this is going. you see we just weren't syncing up the last time, but we are really making some massive steps forward from what I'm seeing. Fuckin dynamite on acid style rocking. Actually captured some of our session on video last time, cant wait to see that.

- Need to go smog the car. Not too hard a task to do, yet takes unconceivable time for me to fit into my procrastinating schedule.

- Registered for classes today. The biggest surprise about it? Only one hold on my registration. Anyone who has read my blog for longer then a few months knows just how much I fucking hate Cal Poly for it's class registration system. I have jumped through flaming hoops of bureaucracy like a trained poodle for some of the stuff I have done there. Today I had to drive to campus and pay an old lady 18 dollars for a ticket to take a test, not too hard. Actually surprised there weren't 5 more things to do before it actually let me pick classes. smile

- My Ipod which I thought was broken only needed some power because it was left on overnight.

- This didn't actually happen today but I might as well update. That Lady friend I mentioned a while back who I was digging on seems to have quit calling me back. No sadness, just disappointment. Life goes on.

-Came home to this in the mail. Currently listening to it and it makes my day.

Stay classy San Diego. -GnG

-Work is stress. Im like the only thing keeping the front end rolling. That may sound arrogant but I am the only checker there for the good portion of the day recently.

- Going through a whole range of emotions dealing with a new lady friend. All the old familiar feelings, good and bad.

-Still having trouble sleeping at night. Hence the 2am blog update (Duh)

- No car right now. My yearly curse of someone backing into has happened yet again. Sigh.

- School is coming back. This does not please me.

-Band is going well, need to put some effort into actual songs though.

NIght.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

The batman movie that is being produced as we speak. This looks promising so far.

One of the concerts I went to awhile back. Found this on the band myspace. Great night.

So here I am, lost in the big wide world that is life.

Im in my summer mode and enjoy that I dont have work and school to compete with, yet find myself in need of stuff to do when Im off of work for the day. surreal

As many of you may or may not have heard the unions came to an agreement with the supermarkets. It was strange to get back so many of the things that we were bargained out off at the last contract negotiation, I thought the management would have fought harder for some of the stuff. But it is all good news to me!

- Pay raise that not only starts in one week but is also retroactive back to march. Cha-Ching! biggrin
- Some decent health insurance that I no longer have to wait for.
- Better working conditions and benefits.

It is good to not have work until Saturday after pulling so many days of 9 hour shifts. As a fine end to my work week, my last night involved me explaining to the crankiest old man imaginable that we did not have nor did we ever carry (And I'm fairly certainly it doesn't even exist) a pack of cigarettes for $1.50. He had come into the store earlier and had cursed out 2 of the clerks for asking him if he needed any help finding anything. I sold him a lighter and told him to get out of my store if he wasnt gonna get anything else. I really dont care if he was a 60 year old man, if you would rather buy cigs and lighters then buy food and be a righteous dick to everyone you meet then you aren't going to do that around me. He just threw his 2 dollars on the counter and said that that was all he had. Out. Now. mad

Best wishes guys. -GnG
I think Im in love with this Napalm's New set.

Been a while since I have written anything. Random facts and ideas time!

-So transformers was better than I thought it would be, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of 1408.

- Threw a party on Friday, had many people tell me that I should do these more often. I owe it all to the bartending and party tips that Sexybeast never even knew he was giving me.

- A group of friends from work asked me to join their band, right now we are in the jamming and getting used to each other stage but stuff is going nicely. This is doing wonders for my musicianship, just the kick in the ass I needed to get more serious about guitar and singing.

- Got a text message from my union yesterday saying that a deal has been reaching with the markets, assuming we ratify the deal that means no strike! Good news- more money and benefits without the hassle of a strike/ Bad news- I was planning on getting my Mohawk back if we did strike.

-Mom got a new dog that I have yet to meet.

- Found out I did horrible in my last session of school and even failed one of my classes. frown

- Against the advice of some of my work friends who are currently convinced that women are evil Im getting back into the dating scene. Wish me luck. smile

-All this talk about work friends makes me realize that I need to hang with my SG peoples again soon.
