Got my board!
The weather is finally getting better here in Belgium so I went out and bought myself a longboard.
Already took it out for a spin. Only fell on my face once!

Belgian Tattoo Convention
I went to Urban Ink Fest last weekend, a very cool tattoo convention in Belgium. There where about 75 artists, a beatbox & breakdance competition, a pole dancing show, ...
But the best thing of the entire day must have been Voltrage! A full blown 80's metal band...consisting out of 5 guys that are about +/ 25 years old
Very cool to see how dedicated they were. Everything was just right, the clothing, the hair, the instruments and off course, the music!
If these guys existed in the 80's they would have been the biggest band on earth
Waikiki was there as well with LBSTR apparel and Queen B lingerie. She was going balls out during the Voltrage show.
And off course I couldn't resist, and had to take a picture with her

From Snowboarding to Longboarding
Some time ago I bought my own snowboard and had some great times on it. I spent 8 days in France going down the slopes and was enjoying every second of it.
Coming back home, where there is no snow, or any mountains what so ever, left me longing to go back.
Going on snowboard holiday however, is pretty expensive so I went searching for an alternative. And good god have I found one
I've never ridden a longboard before, so I went and tried a couple of them out today. Just to see how it feels.
After half an hour I was already hooked and already started looking for my own board.
It's probably going to be one of these.
Some time ago I bought my own snowboard and had some great times on it. I spent 8 days in France going down the slopes and was enjoying every second of it.
Coming back home, where there is no snow, or any mountains what so ever, left me longing to go back.
Going on snowboard holiday however, is pretty expensive so I went searching for an alternative. And good god have I found one

The turbulent story of my art.
When I'm in love I tend to get a little artsy and creative and made these little Lichtenstein replica's for my girlfriend at the time. Took me an entire day to make this set and I was very very proud about it (still am!)
After five years things got to an end and I left the paintings with her as a reminder of me and made her promise to return the paintings to me if she ever got sick of them (or just didn't want them on her wall anymore).
Things between us got from being ex's to being enemies very rapidly so she wanted them off her wall.
Now...my (ex)brother in law and his wife(my ex her sister), thought the paintings were very pretty as well. So when my exgf finally got sick of them they wanted to have them. Seemed like a very good idea since having the paintings on their wall would be a subtle 'fuck you' to my ex everytime she would visited them. Made me smile, just the thought that the very last thing that reminded her of me, would now be hanging on the wall of her sister's dining room, staring her in the face everytime she would come over to their house.
About a week ago I decided to leave the 'nest' and go live by myself so I asked the paintings back from the couple. They weren't too happy about it since it looked absolutely astonishing in their new house (yeah modesty isn't my thing ). But I got them back and now they're hanging on my own diningroom wall.
Not really sure why I wanted them back...is it because I think they are pretty or is it because of all the emotions (good and bad) attached to them...
I'll go on a spiritual journey and let you know
