Ok, ok, I'm still here. I was pretty upset and frustrated over some ridiculous shit, but since I got 45 comments of nothing but "no, dont go!" or "I'd only be ok with it because I have contact with you on other sites and/or in person", I've decided to stay.

I'll also admit that I've been slacking on updating my journal properly. I've been fucking busy, so don't give me shit.
I know, I always say I'm busy, but I truly am.

Lets see.... What can I talk about?

I'm about half way through my last quarter at my current educational institution. I'm not sure how I feel about this, especially since I just happen to make it the hardest quarter of my fucking life. Here's a tip: Physics 3, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry 3 + other courses should not be taken in the same quarter.

So, I'm up to my fucking neck in carbon.

I'm not really sure what I was thinking when I decided my last quarter's schedule. Maybe it was something along the lines of "i hate myself". Lets just say, I'm looking forward to June 15th.

thanks, necia.

On top of all that, I'm still holding down the STI clinic on campus. I've expanded it, and its pretty awesome now. Also, I've decided to take on the task of organizing a county recognized certified farmers' market for campus. We really need it, because Aramark is in charge of the food service and offers about 1 moderately healthy option a day, and nothing for vegans. They also force the resident students to buy these awful meal plans, so they have no choice but the eat through Aramark every day.

Plus, who wouldnt want to see this when walking to class:

mmmmm!

In other news, I've been offered a really sweet job position for (at least) the summer through the Immunology division of the Biological Sciences department on campus. I'll be doing extensive HIV research. I wont go into my nerdy explanation of all the rad stuff I'll be researching, but if you'd like to know, ask away!

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing about my adventures in school, but at this point, thats just about the only thing I have going for me.

I've been suffering from some pretty severe TMJ problems lately. Its getting to the point where I cant really open my mouth wide enough to take a bite of food, or to yawn. I think Sarahg threw a softball at my face, missed my eye, and accidentally whacked me in the jaw. Bitch. Learn to throw.

I really hope that I get to look like this lady if I have to get treated for my TMJ problems:

We are not codfish!

Oh!

I did give myself a rather colorful birthday present. I know, my birthday was months ago, but I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of it. Please excuse the shitty webcam picture. I'll get a better one, I promise.
Its not done yet though.

You might also notice that I've taken out my belly button piercings. They were ready to go.

I've been working pretty hard with the Gravity Faggot gang, and I finally have my own section up on the site! It launched a few weeks ago when we launched v2.0 of the whole website. So, if you're feeling kinda queer, or just want to see what Ive been doing, check out the Lesbionic Action Page (aka "The Screaming Uterus"). There's currently two interviews up:

&

on top of that, you can now buy a poster with my comic persona, Cassie Nova, on it!

In other news, I finally came out to my dad on Easter. He was really cool about it.

I have a huge exam on friday, so Im going to get back to Wittig reactions and other Organic Chemistry shit.

If you need me, I'll be making lemonade.

Thanks, neonframbozen.

p.s.- I'm kinda tempted to make my next entry a video blog somethingorotherblah blah. Thoughts?

I'm glad you stayed.

The 'choke looks great, much different from the webcam view, esp. the detail on the fork and spoon.

I love farmer's markets. Luckily Moscow is hippie-professor land so on top of our food co-op with its delish veg options, we have a farmer's market that starts in May (can't wait) and a couple small produce stands from the local farms. I love summer and fall around here.

they have a one semester course with lab specifically for pharmacy students. i had some AP credit from the physics B exam so I was able to get credit and didnt have to take the class. i actually really liked physics since it really made sense to me - some aspects of it came pretty easily. although this was three years ago so i can't remember much of it at this point.

i got into pharm school right from high school - i believe only schools in the NY/NJ/PA area admit mostly students without any college experience. im about to finish the first year of all pharmacy classes so at this point i have some of the foundations for the advanced stuff i'm getting next year and the year after in the pharmacology, med chem and endless therapeutics classes...

You always have so much going on. Have you any idea how much I look up to you for taking on so much? As hard as it is sometimes, I'm sure, it really impresses me.

I've also been thinking of doing some sort of video thing. I've been putting it off for a while, for some reason. So I'd say go for it.

I miss you butt-tons.
