Yesterday I helped Miles move more of his shit back from Seattle to the Island, so my day kind of started overtown.

He crashed at my place the night before, so we headed went overtown after getting a cup of coffee at a local bookstore place. We moved his shit, dealt with his semi-upset ex girlfriend and ending up getting really good Vegeterian Chinese food at place called Bamboo Gardens on Roy. It was actually really nice. One of the conversations that sparked there was about real Wasabi root, and Miles had never had it. So! We decide to swing by Uwajimaya. A trip for one sole thing becomes a much bigger event. We get the Wasabi, some amazingly fresh Uni, some Eel..etc..etc..etc. Ended up spending like 60 bucks on an assortment of delectables.

Pick up Andrew on the way back, Miles goes off and drinks with a girl who used to have a thing for me (hence why we don't go, cause Miles wants to hook up with her) and Keith, Andrew and I shit around and spend the night playing Go (god I love that game) SSBB and Rock Band. Miles shows up much later, very drunk, and then I start drinking a little bit more (avoiding it cause of the gout and Illness) Miles and I are pounding Wasabi, Uni, Quail eggs and alcohol left and right on my butcher block, when Andrew and Keith are encaptivated in a game of Go.

More Rock band, till I break the drum pads rocking out too much.
Night dwindles down, people crash, people leave, Breakfast in the morning at Brauburn with Miles cooking with the rest of them eating and that's kind where I am.

I like cataloging my life. Lets me look back in it years from now and go "Damn, that was dumb" I do that from time to time..Jeeze, some of the shit I dig up. Hoo HOOO!
