Hello, all.

So I'm making good on my word & blogging! Yay, blogging! A lost joy in my life.
I haven't slept the past two nights. I don't know what the deal is. Maybe stress.

But I do have some good news: the professor of my nonfiction workshop told me to send out the first essay I wrote for class. It's called, "How Not to Cheat." Bahahahhahaha.

In other news, I do believe the charming and talented AlissaBrunelli and I will be shooting another set in the near future. I can't wait!

And I know it's not Vain Thursday, but I have to make up for lost time.

Hello beauties!

Gatsby is back from the dead! I'm going to make a better effort of being active on here.
But I had to get some stuff together: applications for grad school, writing, visiting the fam. It's been a good summer.

Did I show you my half sleeve? And another new tattoo? I guess I ought to!

So, you're probably wondering where I've been...

Busy as all hell! Working on sleeves (on other people), writing, and grad school applications have me all tied up.

Just thought I'd let you all know I haven't completely dropped off the face of the earth.

For my fellow animal rights activists, I give you:

I just won a Humanities scholarship. Not too shabby considering I'm already going to school on a full ride.

Thank you all for the support through my weekend. Your comments are the only thing that kept my chin up!

Guess what?

I won this big poetry contest, The Academy of American Poets Award (the Rense Award) for $400. The big thing isn't the money though. The judge of this contest was Franz Wright, the Pulitzer Prize winner for his book of poetry Walking to Martha's Vineyard. I couldn't believe my peepers!!!

I'll be at Hell City all weekend, so I hope to see a lot of you there.

And I dyed my hair an auburn color. I'm very happy with it, although it's mostly just a red tint. Here, I'll show you.

WORST WEEKEND EVER.

I'm in Rochester, NY to visit my boyfriend's parents & he ditches me all weekend to get drunk & play hockey with his friends. And I'm stuck & can't leave & we're fighting. He has made it clear that I'm just a girl he's known for six months & apparently that means my wants are less important than everyone else's. Which is fine. I like to know when I've been wasting my time.

I just want it all to be over with. I can't take this anymore.
