Well I've been back from Belgium for a while now but attempting to be busy with an essay and a presentation for uni. I say attempting because my focus hasn't been as good as it should be but I've done them finally so I'm back posting shite on the interwebs.
Don't actually have much shite to spout at the moment though. Bruges and Antwerp were ace. Brussells is a shit hole. We had a fairly quiet New Year over there but over the course of the week drank far too muhc. Belgian beer, who can say no?
No New Years resolution nonsense for me, finishing my degree with a decent grade is all that matterss for the next four months and after that who knows.

My computer died. This is the first time I have ever lost a computer to anything other then a virus that was my fault for downloading. It's a much nicer feeling, normally I feel like a complete dickead when my computer dies. My new PC has shipped apparently, fingers crossed its here soon.
Anyway the first half of Hamlet was good but my Dad hated it and another member of our party was suffering with dubious guts so we went to the pub at half time. It was good to see some of my parents and my big sis and her fiance in London, normally I have to go home to see them so having them come up was nice.
Wednesday we also got to see my little sis as she got trapped in London by the snow. I miss my family loads at times sot was ace to see them all. It's not far to them but we are very close, they are more friends then family and being in London means I can't see them whenever I want.
I'm still struggling with motivation for uni. I am really interested in what I am studying and I love my course but my deadlines are so far off that I can't bring that little bit of panic to my schedule that I need to get things done. Not having a computer has not helped. If I get two essays done before the end of term I wil be ok. Three and I will be exactly where I want to be. Three essays in two weeks - that's possible right?
Looking forward to Christmas, it's always one of my favourite times of the year. To me it's just a time to celebrate being with the people you love. I'm especially excited about a revival of one of my favourite traditions the Christmas Eve piss up. I'm off to Brighton's Hobgoblin to get twatted and pay far too much for a cab home. It's going to be great.

If it doesn't it's certainly something for us (and all couples) to aim for. Have some fucking fun people.
In the meantime I'm going to listen to England destroying Australia. Cricket on the radio with a bottle of red. Perfect

I'm going to see Hamlet at the National Theatre on Saturday. I have only ever seen Shakespeare performed as a school play (Midsummer Nights dream, my sister was ace) so I am really rather excited about seeing some for real for the first time. I might even feel cultured although that would be a bit of a lie.
My third year at uni seems to be going really slowly. I have no deadlines at the moment which means I do no work. I'm going to try to force myself to do some of my essays early because after Christmas is all about my dissertation. It's going to be tricky though, I'm rubbish unless I have a real target to work for.

I've woken up thinking it's Monday. I'm really fucking confused right now. The worst part is I was expecting my regular web comics to have been updated and now I'm at a loss as to what to look at.
Otherwise not much is happening. Really struggling to focus on my uni work even though I have lots of time. I just can't make myself sit down and do it. The aforementioned confusion about web-comics probably gives you some idea of how prone to being distracted I really am.
On the other hand I just got my Girona side promoted to the Spanish second division in FM2010 so that's going well. Trying to decide whether I need FM2011 or not. I'm really enjoying last years edition but the people who have FM2011 are saying it is a genuine improvement. I'll probably wait until it's fully patched before caving in as usual.
The League 1 table is also currently making me happy

My timetable for uni gives me one class a day, four days a week. I know some of you who have real jobs in the real world will say that that sounds amazing but trust me it is really hard to motivate yourself to leave the house and do a round trip of nearly two hours for what will be at most two hours of class, Would it really have been so hard for them to give me four hours of class, two days a week?
Fridays are extra special because I go in for one hour of what is usually really basic history that we've already studied in other modules in the first two years. Then the lecturer posts the whole lecture on the uni intranet so I could find out what was talked about without leaving home if I wasn't so damn, conscientious. I want to scream at him that he got me out of bed for this!
I'm going to get drunk tonight on a really good bottle of red to make up for my wasted day. It's the only answer.
