I haven't updated this blog in ages. I've been traveling a lot this last year, from France to Spain, Hawaii, Yosemite, etc ... I also just became single after a two year relationship - I'm ready to meet new people and have fun so hit me up. Otherwise, I'm still in the process of recording songs and am working on launching a new business.

weeks go by fast. I've only been spending 4 days a week in LB these last few weeks. Went a few times snorkelng with sharks in San Diego, which is a lot of fun. Meeting with a singer tomorrow and this weekend leaving for 10 days in Hawai

Mmhhh, I've been missing for action for a while because, as usual, I've been too busy. I've been out of town almost every weekend so here is a short summary of what's been going on:

Las Vegas
San Diego
Snorkeling with Sharks
Snorkeling with regular fishes
Film festival
Seeing Stomp
Mixing my songs in Pro-Tools
Try to sing on some of my songs (not good)

This weekend I'm planning to go to Moca afterdark and next week I should meet with a singer for my songs.

I've been gone for a while with no much time to come here. Last weeks included Sequoia Park, several weekends in San Diego, covering the LA film festival -- including the Joe Strummer event, etc.. This weekend I'll be at the Masquerade ball in Hollywood as well as at the house of the French consul in Beverly Hills for Bastille Day. Haven't been to any concert lately, except for Great Northen at the Hammer museum last Thursday. In 10 days I'll go see Daft Punk though. I'm also considering going for a week in Hawai in September.

I've just realized that for the last 5 weeks I only spent one weekend home. Coachella, Vegas, San Diego and now Sequoia Park. We're leaving on Saturday morning and it should be a lot of fun since neither have I been to Sequoia Park nor to Kings Canyon.

I just ran into the new American Idol tonight - she seems pretty nice and quite charming, unlike the runner-up who - I'm told - is a jackass. Before you start asking me, no I haven't watched American Idol and no, I won't tell you where she lives.

Spent the last few days in San Diego for a seminar, which was pretty interesting and just got back last night. The weather sucked but I managed to get drunk twice, including at the Oxygen bar. Went to the wild park as well, which was a big disappointment.

Yes!!! After more than 6 months of bitching I finally solved my pro-tools issue. A few days ago I was complaining to the guitarist of a well-known band about how I couldn't get any sound with Pro-tools, telling him it was probably some stupid button to push. Even though he was nice enough to invite me to the studio where he's recording in Hollywood, to talk to his sound engineers, I'm glad I didn't have to do that, because it was indeed some dumbass computer setting that needed to be changed and I would have looked retarded. Now, I'm finally gonna be able to mix and finalize those songs.

The party on Saturrday @ the Standard, downtown, was fun but pretentious as usual. We had lots of drinks and partied from 3 PM to 1AM -- including a stop at another trendy club nearby. On Sunday just hang out in Venice and when to a bbq in Marina del Rey at night.

Tonight I'm home, getting things ready for the Cannes film festival. As for tomorrow night I'll probably go to Great Northern's CD release party @ the Echo.

I'm not sure what are my plans for the weekend, beside the fact that I should be in San Diego for work..but I wouldn't mind seeing those SG cuties at the convention, if I get the chance.

Saw Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at the Wiltern this week. It's actually the 4th time I 'm seeing them and it was their best show so far mostly because it was the most varied, alternating between their rough garage/Jesus & Mary Chain fuzzy sound and beautiful blue-grass/gospel moments.



What am doing home on a Friday night? Writing lyrics for some of my songs -- when the inspiration comes, you should take advantage of it, while it lasts!

Tomorrow, you will be able to find me among the posers at a pool party, on the roof of the Standard Hotel, downtown LA.

The day following the Velvet Revolver show, I left for Vegas for the weekend. It was great. Partied from Friday at 11 PM to Saturday at 11 am non-stop. Then went to sleep for a few hours and got back to business. I even ended up getting kicked out from a club. Wanna know what I did? Well, I guess I was just too wild for Vegas.
