I know it's been a long while since my last update, but you know life happens. Since my last update I've been trying to convert as many people into whovians as possible , for people don't know what a whovian is it is a Doctor Who fan. I have got a few people to start watching it but eventually they fall in love with it. I've also got to take my Jeep out in the snow, I use to hate driving in it but now it is so much more enjoyable. My dog also has been enjoying it as well, the snow I mean but it doesn't last its been pretty much melting right away. I've also been looking to finish at least one of my sleeves this year, one is closer to being done than the other. My right arm needs one more piece and the background, but my left needs quite a few more. Hopefully in March I'll finish my chest up, but we will see. Also I'm so excited to see Coheed and Cambria with Between the Buried and Me, it's about a month away but my excitement level is rising with each passing day lol, I think it's due to the fact I've been wanting and trying to see both band for a while. Sorry about the randomness of the post lol till next time.
So 31 days have come and gone but I extended it for a few days last Thursday and Friday were the great Vincent price flix they were Mad House with Peter cushing and vp and the other was the Raven with Boris Karloff.? Saturday was a movie called LO it was a guy who summons a demon to save his girlfriend who was taken to hell it was more funny than scary. Sunday was another movie called The Raven with John Cusack pretty much it is a killer is murdering people in the fashion of Edgar Allen Poe's stories. Monday was kind of an obvious chose because it was John Carpenter's Halloween but with hurricane sandy happening right when Lori is being chased by Michael my lights started to flicker lol. Tuesday was a double feature it was Trick r' Treat and Rob Zombie's Halloween I love Tyler Maine as Micheal Myers is fantastic he is so brutal. Wednesday Halloween was a fest is started off with It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown then Halloween 4 & 5 with the lovely Danielle Harris and I ended the night with Hocus Pocus it's always a fun movie to watch. So with Halloween on a Wednesday I felt robbed so for the rest of the week I had a Munsters marathon till next time
It's kind of sad October is coming to a close in just under a week this suck. It also means my 31 days of horror movies is almost over but for now here is the next set of movies. Last Thursday was Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, Friday was kind of a double feature it was Devil's Reject kind of an obvious chose and I went to see the Twins of Evil Tour with Manson and Zombie, Manson was a disappointment mumbling through songs and forgetting words and line plus he had no stage show, and Zombie was fantastic as always he added more monsters changed up the songs it was badass. Anyway Saturday's movie was the Shining I thought about the concept of the movie and wouldn't you go crazy being isolated for five months, Sunday's movie was Munster,Go Home you can never go wrong with old school and on that note it brings me to Monday's movie which is my favorite horror movie of all time Frankenstein I love it that much I have one the iconic images tattooed Tuesday's was the Exorcism of Emily Rose and last night's was Mad House with Vincent Price and Peter Cushing till next time
Sorry about being a little late on the update of the next set of movies we'll start with last monday which was another fantastic Tim Burton flick Corpse Bride Tuesday was a great mash up from the great horror writer Stephen King and the zombie King George Remero it a little movie called Creepshow. Wednesday I went a little old school with a great movie from one of my favorite horror actors Vincent Price it is called House on Haunted Hill I love everything about that movie especially the twist ending, Thursday was a new movie I never have seen before it was called The Loved Ones it is one of the those movies you can't stop watching just because you want to know what is going to happen. Friday was a cult classic plus another of my personal favorites Killer Klowns from Outer Space nothing is better than popcorn that turns into monster. Saturday was another Tim Burton flick it was Dark Shadows many people really disliked it but I thought it was great come on Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are the gothic dynamic duo lol plus it is an all star cast. Sunday was another oddity Slither it has aliens and zombies together but also very funny. this past Monday was a great one Evil Dead 2 when you watch a person cut their own hand off with a chainsaw there is nothing better plus Bruce Campbell is the man in it. Last nights movie really wasn't scary at all it was Monster House, but seeing a house come alive and start to eat people is pretty cool but gets a little outlandish when it uproots itself to chase the kids lol. Till next time
Since I started my 31 days of horror films I got to watch some I forgot were good. I started off the month with a new movie to me it was called Jaun of the Dead, it was quite funny. The next night was one of my personal favorites it was Dead Snow kinda a new take on the zombie but the gore is great. Then to keep up the foreign zombie outbreak I ended up watching 28 days later it was a long time since I have watch this movie and forgot how good it really was. Plus it makes an outbreak caused by a virus rather than reanimation. Plus to all my nerdy people it has the 9th doctor, scarecrow and mad eye moody in it lol. The following night I watched 28 weeks later not as good as the first but still pretty cool. Saturday I watch the new Frankenweenie I should say the reimaging it was pretty cool it paid homage to the old school horror flicks mainly the universal monsters and last night was another fantastic one it's Nightmare before Christmas it kinda speaks for it self. Till next time
So fall is almost on us and I'm so excited beacuse that means Halloween is just are the corner and pumpkin spiced whatever is out, the leaves are changing and the weather is getting a bit cooler. I'm already working on my list for the 31days of horror films. I'm only allowing myself to buy five because I usually buy ridiculous amount. But it's all good anyway, but I'm in a debate weather or not if I'm going to do a party this year. But anyway till next time
I'm getting horrible with this updating thing. Lol but any way it's been a busy two months now that my job has us working six days. I can't complain to much the pay checks are nice but I don't have a life outside of work because of it. But anyway my truck was starting to give me more problems so I got tired of puting money into it, so I went and bought a Jeep wrangler. I had to relearn driving manual again but after that I was fine. But the first time I took it to work, I released the clutch too fast and ended up burning out, lol but I felt a little embarrassed though. I also did Mayhem Fest this month it was great, I throughly enjoyed it. Slipknot and Slayer renewed my faith in their live show. Slipknot was amazing, they were going crazy on stage, but sounded even better. Slayer was great, I had to laugh though they had their speakers set up as upside down crosses and throughout the show fire was blowing out of them. Motorhead was awsome being the first time I got to see them, but they weren't fucking around when they say everything louder than everything else. Both the second stages were fantastic Whitechapel kicked major ass, they came out before another band was finished and started playing and drowned out the other band. The devil wears prada was great as usual but this time I got to meet them it made my day. I the breather was the first to start the show and they played great. But the main band I wanted to check out was upon a burning body, I was so fucking impressed. It sucked though they played on one of the second stages but it was more of a tent than anything. But they still got the crowd pumped up. I also got to go a horror movie convention, it was great I spent more than I wanted to but it was fun I picked up an awesomely bad horror movie, a documentary on American horror films and Iron Sky it was a good movie but kinda cheezy. I also met the great Tom Savini, I felt like a little kid when I met him for once in my life I was speechless. Lol I also got to meet Jamie Kennedy he was looking kinda rough but he was very chill and cool. But anyway I could babble on all day lol but till next time.
I know it been a really long time since my last up date, I just been busy dealing with insurance stuff for my accident and looking for a new bike. But anyway I got hooked on that show game of thrones like everyone else lol but its a great show. I can't tell you to much about April kinda not to much going on except healing and discovering I have a concussion and wont be healed until October, it sucks but what am i gonna do lol. May was a little more exciting started out with me finding another bike it was a bit of an upgrade but cheaper just needs a choke spring. The bike has so many new parts already but the only reason the guy got rid of the bike was he had no more extra money to finish it. Then I went to the Rob Zombie and Megadeth tour. It was awsome Lacuna Coil opened up and they were amazing I was impressed they were really rockin it. Then megadeth came on, my lady and i were right at the stage it was great they are still kick ass but Dave Mustain is looking rough. But Zombie stole the show as usual, zombie and John 5 were screwing around alot on stage, they started to wrestle during super beast and John 5 still kept playing guitar. During the encore he played the trailer for his new movie Lords of Salem, it look good but crazy. This past weekend I went to the Philly comic con I mainly went to meet Stan lee, which I did it was amazing but I went to shake his hand and security swatted my arm away. lol I also go to meet the lovely Shannon elizabeth she was so nice and still just as beautiful as ever and Lou Ferigno it was great and the always beautiful Lita or Amy Dumas former wwe diva, we talked about tattoos. We did stumble upon the lovely ladys at the suicide girls booth. I wish I would have got a picture with them. I picked up alot of things manly art but my favorite thing was the entire series of the cartoon Beetlejuice, it was a trip down memory lane. lol Next week I am going to get a new tattoo, it feels like forever since my last, ill post a pic when it is done. Till next time
So I know it been a bit since my last post. So my month been pretty good starting out because I got to go to a horror movie convention but i really only wanted to to meet two people im starting to like to see what people have for sale or i should have made. But I to meet Pam, Kristen Bauer, from True Blood she really nice and surprisingly tall. The second was David Prowis, Darth Vader, I felt like such a nerd when I was in line but so excited though. The day before might been after me and my lady went to see August Burns Red, Silverstein, and Texas in july we met up with a buddy and his girl he always gets a laugh when we are in the pit because he just like to see my plow in to people but I loved the show you can never go wrong with ABR. then last friday night I got in to an accident on my bike some jackass decided to pull out in front of me just to go through a parking lot to miss the light. I ended up hitting there rear quarter panel and the last things I. remember was before hitting the car was saying SHIT, hitting the car and then my head thank god that i waswearing my helmet. When I came to the bike was on my leg, so I tried to pull it off and then discovered that my arms were hurt. So i just yelled get this fucking bike off me! And there was so many people that was there and when they helped get the bike off i tried stand on my own but fell straight on my ass. Then three people had to help me walk but I was trying to do it my self. Then the emt was checking my head out, she was quite pretty, but any i was clear but my knees were quite messed up and my left ARM has a contusion and my right ribs bruised and my right hand swollen. Honestly im lucky i wasn't worse but still upset i lost the bike it was totaled. but till next time
I know its been a long time since my last update but its been a busy past few months. I've been trying to finish my bike before it got too cold but the winter up here helped out so much with sixty degree weather in all. I had to repaint the tank and fix the carborator but I got all done about two weeks ago and took it for a ride but forgot my mask that was a bad idea just a little too cold but it was a good ride none the less. Then I help my buddy with his movie he has been working on for like two years. He taught how to use the editing equipment and help him with sound effects, the movie came out pretty good but a little short. If you wanna check it out its on YouTube, It's called Batman the day the clown cried. It's his first film other than the little stuff for school. But anyway last weekend I was up in New York City to see a good friend. But I also got to see suicide silence and darkest hour in time square it was pretty badass, I've passed the venue so many times and did not realize it was there. I wasn't feeling that great before hand and went and got some advil, but I didn't realize how high the millagrams were and took two. While at the concert with all pot in the airand the advil being 500mg, I guess those two do not mix to well so i started to have hallucinations I was in the pit and everyone was starting to turn into demons or having faces melt off it was quite an experience, i got out and had splash water on face but the show was amazing. Also see time square at night is quite a site to see. Till next time
