It is now sometime it late may(I can never remember dates, as long as I know the day of the week I'm good) and so far the relationship I entered about 2 months ago is still going fantastically...almost damn near perfect actually.
Besides my relationship life being set instead of looking for a new job or a job in my preferred career field I've decided to just create my own. A good friend of mine and I will be starting up our own production company here soon. The main focus is on producing music videos for bands in the Houston area(both unsigned and small/indie label) and commercials for local businesses. With those having little to no overhead cost for ourselves it should allow us to sink a majority of the profits back into the company to procure the equipment neccesary to start the film aspect of the company.
The business plan is lengthy and pretty solid and we already have some work lined up. Just have to go through the fun of trademarking names, IRS small business forms, and see if we can start up a company bank account and get investors...shouldn't be hard seeing as I have a degree in communications and am finishing up one in audio/video engineering while my partner has his in graphic design. So we have the degrees to back our growing portfolios...we'll see if it takes off enough to become a full time gig or not.

Hmmm....time to update my blog I guess.
My Internship went great but so far no permenant job opportunities as of yet so back to my shitty job.
It wasn't for nothing though, met a lot of great people and got to meet and get to know a girl from a few of my classes that I've never had a chance to talk to before.
After the first few weeks of getting to know her it didn't take long to realize that she is perfect for me. Same taste in music, movies, etc. Same views in politics, religions, life, what we expect in a relationship. Not to mention she is drop dead gorgeous...the 36DDD's doesn't hurt either
We've been dating for a few weeks now and so far so good, I'm excited to see what the future holds.
Now just to find a job in the video field and life will be even better.
Until next time.

It's been a month since I've posted, my internship has kept me busy with the 70+ hour work weeks. Add to that my radio shift and classes....I'm lucky if I get 4 hours of sleep a night. But I am making a lot of contacts while out filming and working on various show related projects so hopefully when the internship is over I'll have a few job opportunities.
Besides that life is just sailing by, tried dating again...which doesn't work too well when the other person isn't to honest. C'est la vie, I'm too busy to seriously date now anyway, or do much else for that matter. Can't wait til it's over.
Off to my hour and a half drive to work

Been a few weeks since I posted last, so here I go!
My radio show is going better, I'm able to relax a lot more and even pulled a longer shift this week because the D.J. coming on after me was out of town. Wasn't bad though, just a very long day, even had a group of cub scouts come into the station. We put them on air to say hello to their parents and such, then they took a picture with me behind the booth...I guess for their troop to document their field trip or something. It was fun though.
I start a three week film internship soon, lots of hours, a bit of a drive, but the experience and addition on my resume will be well worth it. There will even be a lot of high up network bosses there so it could always lead to job offers or at the very least a good recommendation.
Last but not least I get to see both "Between the Buried and Me" and "Coheed and Cambria" on March 2nd!!!
I've had their last albums playing almost non-stop for months now(Coheed just released another yesterday) so needless to say I'm pretty stoked
Well that's this week and my next couple of weeks in a nutshell. Things are looking up as long as I can continue to juggle everything at once.

It's about 6 in the morning and I'm just now getting back from a fantastic show north of Houston.
Not sure why I'm writing about it now but it seems like a good follow up to my last blog post...plus I'm still drunk and got coffee when we stopped for food on the way back.
Anyway it was nice to get out and catch up with old friends, make new aquaintances, and get out of the funk I've been in lately. I noticed the other day I've been listening to some really depressing ass music recently and I'm not sure why...just feeling down for some reason. If I'm lucky then the dozen metal bands I listend to tonight and the mass amounts of alcohol I've consumed may help it. Oh well, might need to do some internal soul searching or something to figure out whats been bothering me.
Hope you all had a good night like I have and if you read this then thank you...it only took 10 minutes or so for me to write

Finally had a real day off today from both classes and work.
Got to sleep in, hit the gym, play some Mass Effect 3, and grill some steaks
It was nice to be lazy for a change.
Back to the grind tomorrow, my radio show at noon, and more of the same old boring-ness afterwards.
New job prospect coming up though soon so I may have a lot more free time and the chance to regain my social life which would be a plus.
My buddies band is back to performing again and will be at the BFE Rock Club Jan. 25th(so if your in Houston that's where you can find me). Can't wait to get my face melted off by a dozen metal bands and get drunk as hell...lucky for me I have a designated driver

It's pouring like crazy down here, streets are flooding and parts of the city are losing power.
I have to be at the radio station in about an hour to get it off auto-pilot and up and running for this semester(that's 89.7 for those of you in Texas between Houston and Galveston) but I'm kind of hoping the station loses power and we reschedule for another day. The rain makes me want to stay in, stay dry and be lazy.
Not to mention starting next week I won't have any real days off for a month or so
Oh well, thats life. Have to finish school and land my dream job, whatever that may be.

Hmm....first post of the New Year, so Happy New Year!
Trying to remember to post often so I meet the requirements for groups and such on here.
It's the beginning of month three of being back in the gym and after two and a half years off I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and making progress. Feels great to be getting fit again and my back has rarely been bothering me. All that is left now is to prepare myself for quiting smoking....and yes I smoke and go to the gym, but I'm sure that cancels each other out...right?
On another note I finally found out my grades for last semester and ended up with a 3.5GPA for the Fall, so I'm pretty stoked about that. It's a lot easier when your doing something that you are truely passionate about.
So that's all, have a nice week

New Years Eve...last day of a year that has seemed to be filled with more stress than normal for me. Time to move on from another failed relationship, lost friendships, and goals I had set for myself yet never met. 2012 wasn't all bad though, I finally switched my major back to film/radio and am on track to a career i will truly enjoy. I am also finally getting back in shape after years of dealing with a back injury and I feel great....just got to quit smoking now so I can prepare for the Warrior Dash and Spartan Race later next year.
Another thing, why must everyone wait to make positive steps in their life until the first of the year? I saw that I had lost almost 50lbs. of muscle in almost 3 years and got myself back in the gym. I wasn't happy with what I was going to college to do so I changed my major to meet my passion. I wasn't happy with my ex so I broke up with her. All you do by waiting to make New Years resolutions is procrastinate. Why wait when you can start at that moment? The longer you wait the less likely you are to see it through.
That aside I am not looking forward to the crowded gyms these next couple months....oh well, most of them will stop going by march and things will be back to normal.
Have a Happy New Year and please stay safe and don't drink and drive.
One night of fun is not worth your life or the life of someone else.

It's officially the day after the end of the world. We either all survived it or we died and the afterlife isn't anything like I thought it would be.
Anyway...I'm bad at this blogging stuff but do it for the sake of keeping this thing active.
So have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc....and if you don't believe in anything then have just have an awesome week
