I can't believe it is snowing on Easter. I'm so sick of snow. I think I am getting sick again.

Other than that, life is good. Finishing up with school. Been going out a lot with Melody and her friends. Not this week though. She is back in Eau Claire visiting relatives. She'll be gone until the 30th.

I miss her. Everything seems so boring with her gone.

Life is good. Went out Saturday with Melody, the girl I met a couple weeks ago. We went to dinner and then to see some live music. I don't remember the band names but they were pretty cool. Dinner was incredible. This Brazilian steakhouse. Fogo de Chao. So good. Best food I have ever had at a Restaurant. I especially loved the fried bananas. I'm gonna try to make them at home some time. I was a little self conscious at first. Never having gone on a date before. And the restaurant was way more formal then most places I have been. But I had such a great time. Melody is so nice and I feel so comfortable with her. We are going out again next Saturday. First to get some pizza and play a few video games. She likes a lot of old school games just like I do. Then to see some more live music at places I have never been to see bands I have never heard of. It's cool though. I'm having fun and I'm finding that the people I am meeting are really cool. Her friends are really nice. I was worried about fitting in but it has not been a problem. Everyone really made me feel welcome.

Kind of like the people here.

My mom got a new laptop so now I have this computer all to myself. Very cool.

So there is this girl that likes me. I know, I am as amazed and shocked as you are. Probably more so.

In a few days I go on my very first real date. I'm nervous as hell.

I recently took some truly beautiful pictures of a very pretty girl. I am quite impressed with myself. In fact this may be the first time in my life that I don't feel humble. I just wish I could show them all to you.

It's so damn cold outside. I wish I had a car.

I did something today I almost never do. I went shopping. Bought some clothes, a ton of Polaroid film and season one of Lost. Now I am broke and have buyer's remorse.

I'm going out tonight. With a bunch of people I barely know. To a club I've never even heard of. Should be interesting.

Update Tuesday morning

Last night was awesome. I may have exciting news to share. But I am afraid to say anything yet. I'm afraid to jinx it.

In other news for the first time since I was maybe 8 I am feeling kind of superstitious.

So I've been taking lots of pictures lately and was curious to see how much scanners cost so I could post them.
Wow. I had no idea they were that expensive. I think it would be cheaper to get a digital camera. Not that I can afford that anytime soon either.

The problem is my mom won't let me work until I graduate. She says school is my job. Which I understand. I've seen a lot of my friends get too concerned with working and either not finish school or let their grades suffer. And I don't want that to be me. But I hate being broke all the time. June can't come soon enough.

We went to Red Lobster tonight. I'm not a huge fan but I sure love those cheddar biscuits. So good. Plus every time I eat them they remind me of Riley from The Boondocks. And that always makes me smile.

I'm discovering so many awesome sets from before I joined. I wish I could have been here sooner.

Brutal windchills, a lack of reliable transportation and no money has conspired to keep me housebound. Well except for to and from school. But I don't even want to talk about that.

I've been trying new things to keep busy. Painting, photography & some writing. I'm not very good at anything yet but it's fun.

I was just listening to my mom & aunt discussing how when they were growing up there were only a few channels on tv. It seems so strange to me that it was so different just a few decades ago.

The weather lately sucks. Subzero temps. Wind chills of 30 below.

Been stuck indoors all the time except for to and from school. My life lately consists mostly of bad coffee, greasy cafeteria food & watching a lot of bad tv.


I can't wait for spring. I need to get out of the house and do something. Maybe see some shows. Hopefully meet some new people. The people around here suck. Thugs & losers.

My neighborhood sure is pretty this time of year though. The ice on the trees sparkle like diamonds. I took some pictures but I don't have any way to get them on my computer.

I really need to get a digital camera.

I got this today for my 18th birthday. I still am not really sure what the hell it is, but I think it just might be the best present ever.
