Life is good. Went out Saturday with Melody, the girl I met a couple weeks ago. We went to dinner and then to see some live music. I don't remember the band names but they were pretty cool. Dinner was incredible. This Brazilian steakhouse. Fogo de Chao. So good. Best food I have ever had at a Restaurant. I especially loved the fried bananas. I'm gonna try to make them at home some time. I was a little self conscious at first. Never having gone on a date before. And the restaurant was way more formal then most places I have been. But I had such a great time. Melody is so nice and I feel so comfortable with her. We are going out again next Saturday. First to get some pizza and play a few video games. She likes a lot of old school games just like I do. Then to see some more live music at places I have never been to see bands I have never heard of. It's cool though. I'm having fun and I'm finding that the people I am meeting are really cool. Her friends are really nice. I was worried about fitting in but it has not been a problem. Everyone really made me feel welcome.

Kind of like the people here.

My mom got a new laptop so now I have this computer all to myself. Very cool.

ah, that's awesome, man! try not to get too overwhelmed or scared and just roll with it. sounds like you're meeting a whole new crew of people, too - which is great.

i don't know if i'd be able to continue the date if i went to Fogo de Chao first, i tend to eat waaaay too much at those sorts of places.

OMG, fried bananas sound like a taste of heaven!! Whoever came up with that idea deserves an award! Glad u had a good time on your date, u deserve a good time .. and a good lady! Anyone who loves their momma like u rocks! i HOPE my son grows up and thanks me for all my hard work instead of hating me for all the things he didnt have, lol!

Rock Band is a music based video game. It was done by the same people who did Guitar Hero 1 and 2.

Pretty much, the game is Guitar Hero, but also allows for players to play drums and vocals as well. Expensive game for the bundle that comes with all the controllers, but worth it as it is really fun.
