JULY 16, 2012 @ 12:30 PM

A few things have happened recently, on this site & away from it, that have made me frustrated about men in particular's view of what makes a woman hot.
If there's a stunning girl, with fake tan/breasts/nails and an average looking girl who's natural but totally content and confident...I will always think the average looking girl is hotter.

I'm shy, and quite quiet when I first meet people and this often gets mistaken for insecurity.
I'm not insecure at all anymore...I'm so much more comfortable with how I look and who I am now, than I was when I was a size 6 five years ago.
I've gained weight/lost weight...I have scarred arms, a massive cesarean scar...I'm virtually flat chested which I used to hate...scars on my face from old piercings...a tattoo that's ruined and faded from a hospital visit...
But this is me, I'm all natural and my body tells a story.
I've learnt over time to like myself and appreciate who I am and what I look like as a woman.
And I'm damn happy and proud of myself.

EDIT- I would never criticise anyone or look down on someone who dramatically changed something they disliked about themselves. I guess my main issue is people not learning to love the quirks which make them different. Imperfections are what make us who we are, and it's just really sad to see people feel the need to change it when I just wish with empathy that everyone could be a bit happier with themselves (idealistic and naive yes, but I can live in hope!)

Also, a week or so ago I showed my mum my SG photos and she nearly cried she was so proud.
She said she loved how much more comfortable I am with myself now, and I was so pleased that she was proud of me.

Anyway.
In light of celebrating natural beauty, here's some oh-so-hot, confident ladies that are rocking MR right now, and who deserve front page as they're what I love about Suicide Girls.

I completely agree with your summation of true beauty, though I think there's probably a discussion to be had about where natural beauty begins and ends. Is a fake tan any more or less of a body modification than a tattoo or piercing for instance? My preference errs on the natural, because I think there are few things more sexy than individual perfections and imperfections (sucker for freckles, for instance). If everyone looked the same, how on earth would we judge desire? As it goes, I think you're utterly gorgeous, which when coupled with intelligence and personality forms properly the hottest combination of all. I'm also incredibly jealous of that mahoosive ring.

Natural is always better than fake. The general idea of "sexy" is far from my idea of sexy.
And you my dear are naturally gorgeous.

Tattoos and peircings are modifications, not artificial features. I agree that when one brings changing original skin colour and anatomical features into the mix, then we are entering falsification territory.

Modifying is not the same as falsifying and that's why I love SG. Very much.

gosh I can't say enough how excited I am for your new set.
It'S good you feel comfortable with your body. I have always been and modeling for SG has rather brought the opposite feeling to as I feel inferior to all the really hot, well proprtioned ladies on here. Also, I am lazy, eat unhealthy and need to work out. I am sure that losing some kilos and gaining some muscles would hel me out quite well. I still confident now because I know I'm not all about looks. Being clever has always been the biggest source for my self confidence smile

That's why I added:

Oh option "b" is to continue NOT dating. I'm very accomplished at that.

and you know you're gorgeous with the scars and all of that. It is frustrating not to look like a size 2, twenty year old porn star...... but then again...... we have substance.

I don't know what happened off site, & I'm (vaguely) aware of those types floating around here - - the type looking for a Megan Fox/Angelina Jolie/Maxim magazine type model - - but I think you, and the models you highlight here are a perfect rebuttal, and proof positive, natural is in it!
(Regardless of how good this song is)

personally i find the terms "confident" and "content" more important that the physical aesthetic. Still photographs are all well and good but it's only seeing how a person moves and interacts with the world around that really brings out a persons beauty for me.
If someone if happy and confident within themselves then you can "see" it. It is so much nicer if people can be happy with themselves "as they are" but if someone wants to change themselves or their appearance in one way or another, and importantly, it works, and makes them feel confident and content then it can only be a good thing?
...so yes, personally i think natural beauty and confidence is as good as it gets, but i also love that fact that the world is such a rich place where people can also be happy as super-real hyper stylistic representations of themselves as well... it's just very sad that our social rules and pressures warp this into so much sadness and pain for so many.
... and ur selection of pictures is fab.. including the ones of you, you are indeed a very lovely and natural beauty and you should definitely be very proud of yourself, your gorgeous smile
