i use the healing brush tool. set the opacity to 50% or so to make it blend. hold down the control key on keyboard (i think it's control, that or alt) and click just under the dark part. then click on the part you want to cover. make sure the brush is the appropriate size. click under the dark part in different areas as you go across so it matches better. good luck kitten! i might be interested in helping you when you get your site up. i have no job right now and won't until they figure out what's wrong and they said that might not be for awhile. i love editing photos.
