The worst feeling in the world...is not being there.

The worst feeling ever is when you get a call in the middle of the night from someone you love, and they are frantic and they are telling you that they need you but you can't be there. Your heart just sinks because you want to just run to them and protect them from everything that is wrong and bad in life.

I want to drive to Montreal tonight pack up Shauna and bring her back to Toronto. So we can drink and cuddle in my bed and talk everything out and sleep in tomorrow morning. That's what she needs.

I feel like the most horrible friend in the entire world.
