Huh...Kinda' funny....The day after I wrote that last entry, who comes into work?....Stephen J. Cannall.....The creater/writer for not only The A-Team, but The Greatest American Hero (and other shows I never watched)....It was actually kinda' neat to meet him....After all they were staples in my youth....Perhaps even the unknowing seed that was planted way back when that would eventually set me on my course as a writer.....Of course I'm kinda' stoned as I sit here and wax philosophical on the matter...but hey....Stephen J Cannell....

We've got the Los Angeles Christmas parade outside the ol' internet cafe...I hope the channel 2 news team throw candy again...I can't seem to get enough of those little root beer barrels...

Got my 'puter back from the apple store today...It's level of peformance wasn't meeting minimum expectations and had to be taken to be examined by a "genius" (love that all their t-shirts say that)...Just as expected...It was the "optical drive"...Actually up until that point I was going around referring it to the "little eject thingy"...But once I heard "optical drive", I immediately adopted the phrase, and well...I've been saying it ever since...I tell ya', having a mac really is like being part of this little club...And they don't even look down on you if you only have the "mini"....The geniuses quoted me 5-7 business days, which I thought would probably begin monday....But, nope....Took them only overnight to remedy my mini's ailment...Yep, "optical drive"...

That was about as black as my Friday got...I rather enjoy going out and watching people act a fool with their arms full of newly purchased christmas cheer...It's actually been rather brisk the past two days...The harsh heat of November has seemingly moved on...
