Hello to all my peeps out there in whitebreadland...I don't get on here too much anymore...Maybe I've sorta phazed out the site I once frequented on a somewhat regular basis...Blog updates are few and far between it seems...

Well, in a nutshell here's the update on me...

Haven't smoked cigarettes or pot in a week now...Had a shot or two of Jameson in that time but even my drinking, which never really was all that much, has subsided as well...Am I goin' straight edged? I dunno about that, but for now I've been transforming...Discovered yoga and six weeks in, it's changed my life....Lost about 26-30 lbs in that time...Lots of water, eating more sensibly I reckon...On Mondays I coach softball for the Special Olympics...It's actually a blast...Some of those fuckers can really hit....I think there's a tournament somewhere down the line, but for now it's just all fielding and batting practice...I've been disappointed with nearly every movie I've seen this year, except as I might've mentioned "The Proposition"....Good stuff...There's a Leonard Coen documentary out that I'd like to see....New music I'd recommend Nick Cave's Abbatoir Blues/ The Lyre of Orpheus...Not really new to the world, but new to me....I love it....It's my new fav cd...Ry Cooder's Chavez Ravine is pretty cool too.....Check 'em out when you get a chance....

Anyway, just trying to take part...I hope all is well with your and yours....

But get someone who knows what the hell they're doin'...The fucking trick is to NOT KNOW it's been doctored...

Been sleeping on a couch in Venice lately...It's a whole different world out here...I love, love, love the air...You haven't lived until you've taken your coffee and breakfast burrito on the beach...Been lloking for a new place, so I'm thinkin' it's gotta be here...

My friends cat just yacked up a pair of gnarly little hairball globbies...I was about to hook a brother up and clean it up for him, when I decided to wait just a moment...Sure enough, the dog found it...Mmmmm.

Sa-weeet.....I say this new macbook is sa-weeet....Picked up the new mac yesterday....And mind you, I am the leastest cutting edge mother fucker in dodge, but I made a promise to myself if I got my hands on a laptop I was going to seriously kick the writing venture into full throttle mode...Well today was dias numero uno and I strive to be a man of me word....Spent the afternoon in the Santa Monica Library....Damn that was an amazing rediscovery....You know they're still using that ol' Dewey Decimal System?....Man, I don't want to come off as a mook here, but there was the whole thrill of the hunt factor and I worked ol' Dewey over more than once....That shit was old hat....That's a phenomenal library too....Then I compiled all this research on my "super computer" (and that's not me saying "super", it's that "genius" at the apple store there)...And now I don't know which way to go with this story....I tell ya...The history of New Orleans is incredibly interesting....hilarious at times....incredibly dark.....Maybe more on that later....
