LAzy day, tired from seeing Throwrag, The Lords of Altamont and Motorsoul last night. Also emotions explained in previous journal drained me.
Dad was sick so it was a low key afternoon, some food, Pizzookie, and watched a movie.

You know that feeling you get when you see someone you dated for a while with someone else, whether there is anything serious going on? I saw the last firl i was dating at a show last night. The show was great, but it seemed to me and a friend of mine that she was flaunting a little, moving into our line of site, etc...

All my plans fell through tonight....ya know what....that meant i was able to take a nice walk, ride the ferry, get some dinner, and do some late-night gardening..

Rehearsal went good, we put together another song for the21st.
Kind of a lonely feeling night, though I shouldnt feel that way. Sometimes I just want someone there to comfort me...

The Silicon chip inside my head gets switched to overload.....
Went and watched a couple of bands play at The Coach House down south last night. BULLETS AND OCTANE rocked! Look for them on the Warp Tour. Lane Eight and Orange Blossom special were good also.
I am getting nervous. My friend Franki (Who I am backing up on guitar) sent an email out to promote the show to her whole mailing list and made the point to include this line:
*the infamous #1 fan & newly recruited guitarist for
his FIRST TIME EVER ON STAGE..."Fej" (Jeff)
No pressure... It is a lifelong dream to play onstage and it is going to come true on the 21st.
I am only playing two songs with her, and my self defeating mind is saying its no big deal, so not to invite anyone. So to overcome that, I forwarded the email to everyone I knew.
ALL my friends (a lot are playing that night also) and some of my family are going to show up.
I am excited and scared all at once.
If i still smoked, I would be chaining them now.
Laundry's clean, finished studying for the night, time to plink the guitar and then bed.
Life is good today, but that will change.

Went to the Poison's "HollyWeird" tour last night!!
Talk about people watching, from Zebra spandex on tweakers to the Shiny-Shirt Club guys, all styles were represented.
Faster Pussycat opened the show, and I must say, they sucked. maybe it was the sound, but there was no "ummmph" in there set. Next was Winger, which, I have to admit, was really good. That doesnt make me gay, does it?
Probably the best set all around came from Cinderella. These guys still rock and are great musicians. I thought the bass player was from Danzig (Erie Von), but he is the original guy with a new look.
Poison was just a bug party. all the bubblegum and a lot of fun. Pyros, solos, and pop.
made me feel a little old when they said its been 17 years since their first record. (which i bought in high school)
Had fun, but now back to the grind.
Too much school work to fit in this week.

Long day at work. Bought some rope so i can practice with my new book "Erotic Bondage Handbook".
Went to Disneyland this evening to watch the summer opening of "Fantasmic" and Fireworks. Loud explosions and Fire....COOL.
Getting psyched for the "Big Hair Extravaganza" concert tomorrow night. Poision, Cinderella, Winger, and Faster Pussycat! It is going to be a people watching event. Rate the mullets and the spandex.....
