~ I'm baaaaaack... The old computer had issues, and I procrastinated getting a new one. But now I've got a scorching new computer to talk to you guys with!!

Am I the only one having problems with photo sets that are reeeeeally slow or don't show up altogether?

~ My life is a huge series of nexuses...
~ On Wednesday, an old sailing friend invited me to help put his boat in the water in Kingston, NY, and then sail a few hours up the Hudson, to the boat's dock. Completed successfully, it was a great day, boat owners were great, had a great time!
~ It's been forever since I've gotten a "personal" hit on Yahoo. Got an answer from an old flirt on Yahoo, on Wednesday, from a woman in... Kingston, NY...
~ What are the chances of that...
~ So I e-mailed her my cell before I left on Friday. But I'm not really comfortable with the whole thing because I'm mostly going out with someone else. You know, long distance relationship, only part of the year up here. And she's not "the one" anyway. But we get along and travel well together (and oh did I mention that she's an animal in the sack?), and she's going sailing with me in June... I got the woman's message on Saturday evening, great voice, and I soooo wanted to meet her, but I managed to just ride back home instead. Guiltily, dejetedly, and relieved.
~ The whole situation is just unsettling... Life needs to come with clearer directions!

~ So I've chartered a sailboat for my fifty'th birthday in June, for nine days. It's an area I've sailed and kayaked a little before, and I really like it there. I'll be sailing into Bah Habah this time, instead of driving there like a more conventional tourista, Cadillac Mountain should be spectacular from the sea. And although tourista I will be, I'll at least be able to be smug about arriving in places on a boat, that I sailed myself!
~ It should be fabulous: upscale tourista in Bar Harbor, Puffins on Eastern Egg Rock, artsy stuff and Millay in Camden, lawbstas in New Harbour, rounding Pemaquid Point with it's lovely lighthouse, cocktails at sunset on deck in the warm fading light, going to sleep to the soft sounds and motion of the sea...
~ Can I leave now...

How I hate these shoulder seasons - which activity to pursue today??? OK - BOTH!!!

- Welcome to Spring, all! Although it's a not very spring-like 5 degrees this sunny first morning of Spring! Skiing yes, but no bike today!

- OK, Wednesday I rode my motorcycle to the ski slope, the high was 70 degrees, how could I not? And OK, I did do slush...
- But I guess skiing isn't done quite yet because this morning, Saturday, It's 20 degrees, and there's a foot of snow on my car... What the f***, eh!?
- So Happy Frick'n St. Patty's Day Blizzard to all!

- Well the bad news is: I think skiing is done for me, I don't do slush.
- But the good news is: I must've rolled that 'yak thirty times tonight, from every which-away angle!
