I face a dilemma....
One the one hand I have the NaNoWriMo competition. The challenge to write a novel in the space of one month. (at which I am currently failing rather miserably
)
On the other hand there is a screenplay writing competition that has the same deadline (Nov 31st).
Now NaNoWriMo is free while the screenplay competition has an entry fee. NaNoWriMo has no prize money... the other competition does (not that I think I stand a chance of winning, but $10,000 has a way of motivating me even if I can't get my hands on it....).
I know i can write scripts... a novel.... not so sure. In fact I'm pretty doubtful, but that's the challenge! I also know, no matter what path I choose I have got to keep writing, just to keep the momentum going.
So what should I do? Try for NaNoWriMo? Or try for the screenplay competition?
