As weeks go this has been a pretty good one...

Last Friday was my cousin Wouter's wedding. It was a really nice ceremony and the party at the beach afterwards was lots of fun! I really had a great time there. And the weather was fantastic! That was really the crowning jewel. His sister, Karin (my other cousin thus...) got married a couple of months ago and it really pissed down then. It was the only downside to an otherwise great day. But for Wouter and Franja ( is there such a thing as a cousin-in-law?) it was just perfect from beginning to end.

I don't get to see my extended family very often. We've really gotten to the wedding and funerals only phase. Which is a hell of a shame. I had a great time hanging out with them at both weddings, wish we could get together more often. Unfortunately the only one's left unmarried are me and my sister... that doesn't look to be changing any time soon (in my case: never), and I really don't want the next meeting to be a funeral

Back to happy thoughts now.... The day after the wedding was a little rough. In a good way. Namely because I had just gotten over one hangover and started work on the next one straight away A joint birthday party together with a friend of mine. Our real birthdays were weeks/months ago but we hadn't gotten round to celebrating yet. So last Saturday we fired up the barbecue invited a bunch of friends and drank ourselves stupid.

It was good

Thankfully I had a few days of work this week. Spent a gorgeous Sunday afternoon hanging with an old friend on a terrace in Nijmegen. Manged to get to the gym for the first time in months and my work has finally made the switch to a 5 shift system, which means a lot more free time for me from now on and a better pay check to boot!

Tot op it all off another friend of mine has just had her set go live! So go check out Abbiss and leave some nice comments on her set!!

All said and done, this has indeed been a pretty good week. The only thing I need to do now is get over my writers block....
