Well I had a pretty good weekend I must say...

Spent Saturday kicking back on the couch, smoking a cigar and working on a writing "assignment"/project thing that had been sent my way. It went really well too... hammered out 15 pages in just a few hours. Wish my writing always went that smoothly!

And Sunday was the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. I went with an old friend of mine Janneke, and her sister. It's always fun with those two around and I hadn't seen Janneke for a couple of months now, so it was cool to get together again. Despite the lousy weather (not as bad as during The Stones concert but fairly wet) we had a great time. The band was just fantastic. I had heard a lot of horror stories about RHCP concerts (especially Anthony Kiedis singing) but nothing was wrong with this performance. Top marks for RHCP!

Going to be hanging in the park again this Thursday (weather permitting) for the Incubus/Pearl Jam concert. Kind of curious what that'll be like.
