OI!



Two more weeks of madness.



It's funny, however, that even complete insanity can become routine.



But it is almost Canada Day!!







Three Day Weekend! Only 4 more Days!!!



Life will be normal again one day.

I Made It!! It's the Weekend at last!




It turned out to be a 65 hour work week. Most days arriving at work at 5am and leaving around 8pm




For the most part the guests were happy.




But, Holy Hell, there was a lot of food to prepare.




And this week I officially hate Mahi Mahi. It's got to be the smelliest shit I've come across until it's cooked, then it's quite nice.


Only three more weeks of this nonsense to go.

Today I hate Cauliflower!



And Radishes are from the Devil!



Starting tomorrow I have 3 weeks of buffet service to prepare for 135 people each night.



And, because the Universe hates me, all my best laid plans are turning to shit.

People who are supposed to be helping are being sent elsewhere. Deliveries that are never late, are late today. The number of guests has changed 3 times in as many days and nobody's really sure what kind of event will be taking place each night. Speaker? No Speaker! Now a Speaker!



I'm planning on losing my mind somtime around Thursday.

Anyone wanna post bail?

Believe it or not but for the last few months I've been worried about vacuum cleaners.



Or, more accuratly, the fact that an error was made in the purchase of several that I expected to come back a bite me in the ass.




As luck would have it (and a little manipulation) the problem has gone away.

Easily the most boring news anyone could read, but dammit, it's a relief to me.

Any sudden turns of luck for y'all?

Y'know, I already don't care for the public as a general rule.


The last two weeks have only added fuel to that.

The university is down to summer staff these days, so I find myself doing several peoples jobs while they enjoy the unemployment benefits of a summer layoff.


Pogey!

Those of us who are left have no choice but to rely on each other, cuz' we're all there is.

....


People are not reliable.




Maybe my patience is at a low ebb due to long hours and many days since my last day off, but if one more person does somthing stupid (ie. somthing they now better than to do), I'm going to need someone to post bail.



On the up side (Gods Willing!!!) I have the weekend off and plans to go to Art in the Park.

I'm not doing anything fast this week.


It's gonna be low key and passive for the next 6 Days!

It's May 2-4 weekend folks and at the very least there will be no work!


I anticipate some Miike movies.


Some rest.


And some freaky times.

Nothing new and exciting happening right now.



I do get a few days off next week to relax and flake out.

Things are getting back to normal.



The school year continues to wind down.



The end of year projects are coming due.



And the summer projects are begining.



However, the weather is nice.



And the weekends are calm.



Overall, no major complaints.

And so we come again to the end of another school year. Between the move and the process of slowing down at school, I haven't had a sane moment in weeks.



But somehow the end of the tunnel coincided with a long weekend!!!





Not only do I have 3 days off, but I have exactly NOTHING I have to be doing!



I might even have time to be bored! I can't remember the last time I was bored!!



I hope all of you fine people are enjoying the Spring and have a grand ole' holiday.
