welp my shit week got even shittier yesterday. someone took a video of me studying during lap swim at the Y. they said i wasn't paying attention to the pool and there were kids swimming. i was paying more attention to the pool than my studying, i could tell you right now what every swimmer in the pool was doing but i'll spare you. anyway they emailed it to the director and she terminated me. yes i take responsibility for it, i should have been in the chair looking alert. but the norm around there is that during lap swim. hydro, swim team, and aqua therapy you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you look up and scan every once in a while. my friend Emily, who is also Dee's daughter (Dee is the aquatics director), always brings her school stuff to work and is studying on the bleachers more often than not. and one of the guards that used to work there used to be in the chair reading a book and texting. do they get in trouble or fired? nope. yes i understand that because someone brought it to the directors attention that some action had to be taken, but when the aquatics director has told you that it's ok to do things like that during lap swim and such, it's bull shit to fire me over it. but of course Dee wouldn't tell the director that she said it's ok, she'd be in trouble. it's funny, just last week i was studying and Dee was in the pool room and she told me to get in the chair and look alert because she saw the director walk by, and then as soon as she walked past again she told me i could go back to studying. so yea i'm kind of pissed. i mean i hated that job anyway, but getting fired still sucks.

but i went to see the boy after i was let go and he made me feel better. so that's a plus. and today is beautiful and i'm finally feeling like getting out of bed and facing the world. lol

i got new clothes in the mail today too!! so stoked!

idk if i mentioned before that i've recently taken up gymnastics. it's been so much fun, my personal trainer used to be a gymnast and coached as well. so i've been working on hand stands, back hand springs, and front tucks. but it takes quite a toll on my body, i've got bruises everywhere from landing funny or knocking some body part against another one. i did a front tuck and didn't punch both arms up at the same time so i didn't flip straight and my foot landed off the mat and smacked against the gym floor. if my trainer hadn't been spotting me it probably would have been my whole leg. whoops!


oh and now that ZenExistence said he was sending me a wallaby i've decided i need one in my life. just look at it!!!



ok that's all for now, i'm off to the Y to turn in my uniform and get some stuff i usually leave there. oh and maybe tell the director about what really goes on in the pool if i'm feeling ballsy.
