soooo let's see. nothing much going on with me.

it's my last week at work. and i'm searching for jobs for the fall. i've decided to hold off on taking the EMT course until january, i just didn't have time this summer to get everything together. i'm pretty sure i got the job as a fill in lifeguard at the fitness center i go to. kind of sucks i can't get a shift but i'm at the top of the list if someone drops one or needs coverage. and i applied to an ice cream place that i go to all the time. they're open until columbus day and need wait staff to work until then. it's not long but its better than nothing. and i'm trying to get some job experience doing something other than lifeguarding. i could maybe go work at my cousins shredding business, but it's over an hour away so i'd have to stay with my aunt while i work there. i'll figure it out once i'm done working at the park. i can't believe the summer went by so quickly!

i hung out with my good friend Gina, and posed for a picture for her portfolio. i love how it came out!


and the boy made me this it's body is wood, the fins are plastic, and he hand painted it. and he brought me back a pebble from lake michigan while he was there for his brothers wedding.


speaking of the boy... well he's not my "boyfriend" i just don't know what else to call him. anyway he's great. things are going really well, we had our first "date" tonight, he took me out in his canoe and we just paddled around until it got dark. and by "we paddled" i mean he paddled and i tried to help but i'm not the best canoe-er so i let him do most of the paddling, he didn't mind lol then we sat at the edge of the lake and talked until it got too buggy and we both had to go home. i haven't had legitimate feelings for someone in such a long time. but it's nice to have that again. he makes me really happy and we're so alike sometimes it's scary haha

oh and about my set that i shot with Brooklyn, we've decided not to submit it. but don't cry just yet, we've also decided to shoot another one that will be even better! i'll post a few pictures from the one we aren't submitting soon, she's just going to edit a few for me to post for your feedback and such. i'll keep you posted on the new set though!
