Holy crap, I have almost 3 full lines of friends! I feel so special...

Anyway...

Two of my oldest and bestest friends are moving to Arizona at the end of the month. It's really bumming me out. So this Saturday, we are having an intimate gathering of old friends at my place for probably the last time ever. It's just to hang out, eat pizza, play video games, and bullshit around. It's kinda depressing to think that my little circle of friends is going to be broken. And it's not like they are moving somewhere I can easily drive to. I had a friend who moved to Cincinnati, only a 6 hour drive (he eventually came back). But Arizona is on the other end of the country! It sucks, but it's what they want to do. I can only wish them the best.

And what also sucks, is cleaning! Damn, I hate dusting and scrubbing the bath tub and whatever else is dirty. I know it does need to be done once in a while, but I never look forward to it.

I need some sleep.

I am so envious of you people who can write paragraph upon paragraph in your journal.

I often have nothing to say, maybe it's because I never really do anything worth talking about....

Sleep, work, internet, wash, rinse, repeat.

Where are you occasional excitement....

I hate poetry, I can't write it and I can barely stand to read it.

So here is a poem by my good friend and renowned author Matt Bain:

WHEN I"M MORIBUND

When I'm moribund –
feast on my
garnet, candied heart.
Pull off my
ghostface;
wear it as your own.
Decorate my lips
with chloroform kisses
and the darting
of a choking tongue.

When I'm in extremis –
suck the marrow
from my fragile
straw bones;
Floss your fangs
with the vestiges
of my tendons.
Filch my organs
for meat pastries;
Throw my husk
to the gods' breath.

Last but not least –
pop my spirit placenta
and gorge on the
fetal delights of my
screaming, amorphis soul.

I baked a cake, It's nobody's birthday, and the only one I'm sharing it with is my cat.

It's so frickin' hot here right now, but since this is Michigan, it'll be snowing any day now. So, I sould not complain.

Oh, and watch Tough Crowd, it's a funny show.

The Type O show last night was sold out, goths to hillbillys, it was quite a diverse crowd.
