There are many things in life people take for granted. One of those things is the ability to walk. I haven't been able to use my crutches for three years now and let me tell you it makes me teary eyed thinking about how much I miss taking steps to make it across a room. I started the "Help Me Walk More Independently" fundraiser to give me that gift back. With the new medical device known as the "WALKAIDE" system, drop foot which is common in Cerebral Palsy patients like myself is prevented greatly improving their gait.
