Pezmaster got the greatest news this morning. I didn't want to say anything about the situation until a final decision was made regarding it. You see, for the past few weeks we have been trying to qualify for a mortgage loan to purchase our first home together as a family. This was the only option we had left after learning that the house we had been paying rent on and repairing had been deemed unsuitable for living due to a dangerous black mold outbreak. Luckily, we found this out before anyone in our family had gotten sick.

Anyhow, after weeks of impatiently waiting and feeling like there was no way to fix our situation, we found a great bank that got us approved for a $85000 dollar 30 year fixed rate mortgage. Needless to say we are ecstatic! We now must contact a realtor in our area and begin the search for our first family home. I cannot express how excited each of us are. I am in much better spirits and looking forward to a brighter future with the love of my life and our son.

Also, I am returning to school in August. I am finishing the Masters program in Adult Education. I only need six more classes. Then I am going to get a 2nd Masters degree in Addictions Psychology. With both degrees I will have many job opportunities available to me ranging from teaching at a college to working in a rehabilitation facility. I'm still uncertain as to what path I will take, but I am confident now that no matter what choice I make. I will still be very blessed and happy with my life.
