Other than moving, I have been working hard on promoting my book. It is now available on amazon.com and barnes and noble.com, as well as for for the Kindle and in the Apple Itunes store. How cool is that? Now if I can just sell some copies. I have sold 12 so far, so that is quite an accomplishment.
I also had a something disturbing happen to me this month on my monthly trip to Charleston for all my medical appointments. My brother stole all my pain medications. I am extremely hurt. Perhaps more than words can describe.
I am cutting all ties with my family now. The breed nothing but negativity. The only downside is I am now suffering without pain medication and they could care less. It sucks to know that your own family is like that. 
My new family is great however. I got my first Mother's Day present this year. Brandon, my stepson, bought me a t-shirt for the special occasion. He hugged me and said, "Mommy Jenny, you smell so good." So I guess things couldn't get any better than that. Here is a picture of his gift. It says, "#1 Stepmom." I couldn't be prouder to be his stepmother. It is my goal in life to make his life the best it can be. First, step moving. Then getting him into preschool. Fun times ahead.
Once I get moved I am also going to work on a hopeful set. Got any ideas you would like to see? Send me some suggestions. I would love to here some input....

It sucks what your brother did, but it's awesome you have a family that loves you.
I suck at set suggesting, if I come up with any ideas,I'll let you know. You naked is a good idea though.

I know what it's like to have family that you just need to cut ties with and I'm glad you have decided to not let them negatively impact your life anymore!

Hope you can get the house sorted out...and can get more funds and everything fixed up too....great news on the book and I really hope it keeps selling for you too! 
That is awful about your brother and I can completely understand you cutting your ties with your family...you don't need that negativity in your life...you'll be better off without them especially as they didn't care about your situation
Great on the gift and your new family too...that is lovely and hope that you get him into pre-school too and good luck on the hopefuls set...I think if I do do a set at sometime then I would go with something music related so maybe you could do something similar if you know some lyrics or a song that inspires you...take care and great to hear from you again

Set ideas? I would love to see you doing something that is really geek related. Maybe you surrounded by all your books or something like that. Something thats really a part of you.
