There is nothing more I enjoy than DJing. Tommorow I will get a splitter cord so I can split the signal to my speakers and recorder and start working on a new mix... Plus I am curious to hear how I sound w/ my scratching, it has been 2 years since I last recorded myself!!
Got to the gym today. Got some dinner cooked today, just hamburgers on toast... spoke with my dad and checked up on the family back home. They are doing well. I guess they switched my dogs brand of food and she is much more energetic, thats awesome!!! My dad is also taking care of my rats, but sadly, I guess they are his rats now. I am not allowed to bring them on a plane. I miss having little Creaky(the chubby bigger rat) sit at the edge of her cage and put her paws on her bars and look at me while I was on the computer, or messing with my turntables. I can't really describe why I like her so much, but she was just a comfort to have when I lived in Manhattan and would get home late late late from work. Always glad to see me. Always nice. My other rat is cool, but she does like to bite if she is either in a bad mood, or just for the hell of it... so it seems. They are in good hands with my dad, he has cared for rats before. He likes them quite a bit because they pay attention to him while HE is on the computer now!! At least they kept him company while there was no one else in the house besides him while my mom was away.................
OK. I am going to listen to my new tunes again, some some ganj, and then watch ENVY, which I have just purchased.

I am really fucking bored. I cannot think of anything I want to do. Not having a job blows. Not havin a job means I have ample time to read about how shitty the country is getting, and that always bums me out. Did you know the supreme court has OK'ed it 8-0 for police to arrest you w/o telling you why? OK, fuck that shit. I am also glad to see assholes in my country are OK w/ making muslims second class citizens. I dont have much love for muslims, or any other group of religious people, as I think relgion is one of the worst inventions of mankind, but making them give up their civil rights for this stupid "war on terror".... sickening.
I have managed to get to the gym once again... worked out and ran 3 miles. I hate running and I hate working out. It is the best way to keep my mind clear though. That and a ton of green tea!! I can only imagine how out of wack my life would be w/o the gym... sucks cuz I like to be lazy!!!

OK... I might be off the site for a bit. Someone hacked into my bank account and took a lot of loot... I am getting reimbursed by my bank, but it sucks... I had to close my account and they mailed me a check of what I had in my checking account... My new bank wont give me my money for 9 days....... argh. Unbelievable. Thanks 911/Patriot act for the delicious changes to how I am allowed to bank!!! I only signed up for a month, and thats up now, but when I get this straightened out I am gonna buy a years worth of membership...

I checked the payment thing and it says I have a tab, or oh something... haha, I have a tab at SG... That's cool, I don't know too many people who do that w/ websites... regardless I am gonna sort it out and get that year membership I wanted..... Finally got a place to cash my check from my bank... good lord that was difficult. It cost me a whopping twenty five dollars to get it cashed as well. What a burn. At least I got something decent to eat tonight and kept my car from running out of gas... Well, I rented movies so thats what I am gonna watch... "Van Helsing", "SNL Best of Will Ferrell"(again!!) and some Steven King movie that seems sorta new, it has some weird guy with cokebottle glasses on the cover.
OOOHHH, and I did not go to the show mentioned above. It was a huge show, really packed, and I did not have the energy to be in a crowd that big after all the running around I did, and all the shit with my bank... Feck. I love the tunes Juju makes, and Craze is just so sick at scratching... I heard it was he best show ever... but I had a good time just letting myself recoop.

A good weekend.
Highlights... getting new records and also talking to one of my very best friends whom I had not spoken to in quite some time... We used to be a DJ team in Orlando years ago... Got so much good energy from speaking to him, it was like old times. We talked about what records we have been buying, what labels are doing well, and up and coming producers... He said he wants to come out and mess me up on the decks.. lol... it will be a battle for sure!! We are going to trade mixed CDs back as soon as my newest one is done...
Also hit up a few record shops in LA... kind of a bummer. I expected more, something like Breakbeat Science in NYC, but I guess LA does not have a really sick DNB store... So I am going to order most of the new promos I want from the UK, home of DNB... Its all good. I did manage to find 5 records on my list, so it was not a total loss.. and one store I went to has a BBQ tonight, so I am going to that in a few minutes... TEMPLE OF BOOM....
I also go my pics back from the last time I as in NYC and also Chicago... they are good, but a few are funny... ahhh camera fun..... Gotta get a scanner so I can post them or something... My folks also sent my photo album which I had thought to be lost, so thats great. There is a pic of me at 16 on the tables... dyed red long hair... hahahaha... oh man, I remember being that guy so well. Couldn't match a record to save my life, but I always had fun... I would love to go back in time and give positive words of encouragement to myself because I used to be harsh on myself that I was not as good as I wanted to be on the decks... stupid to be that way.
OK...... I am going to finish my green tea, scratch on the decks for one beat and then motivate out the door to this BBQ deal..........

ooh, I checked out a cd of this band called, "The Postal Service"... its pretty different from what I normally listen to, but its pretty smooth... The friend who recommended it has asked me to program some beats and mail them to him... sort of how TPS does, because I guess they live far away from each other and mail stuff through the postage service, hence their name... Should be interesting, my friend is a crazy good all around musician.

Hooray! I got a piece of vinyl I have wanted for awhile... They lost the mix back in the day and it never got pressed till last year... its from like 94-96... My friend even talked to the label boss who owned the tune at the time trying to get a dub copy, but he said he had lost the tape... glad they found it!!! I bet that was an issue of labeling a tape wrong... haha. "Code Black" remix(w/ Beenieman)) on the flip!!!

Oh man. What a weekend. I got so much good shit done. I built this computer a desk... despite there being NO directions, and NO drill holes! What slack ass company made this!?!?! But I got it done. And I reassembled my living room table, but put it in my bedroom so I have a stand for my tv and stereo... I also cleaned A LOT of crap out of my house... Moving generates crap. I did not get to the gym, but it is just more important to me to get my apt in working order. I need for things to be straight here for me to feel good about leaving for something like work. Damn I hope those resumes generate some shit!! I'd be OK with working another job too... Just gotta find something good.
Can you belive the new spending bill passed??? Not only are there ABORTION things in it, but also a YACHT for Bush?!?!?! WTF... I really want to puke. A fucking YACHT............ right, like he needs anything more vacation related. I am no longer amazed at the stupidity of the majority of my country, I am horrified by it. I belive Lenin coined the term, "Useful Idiots"

I need to rack my stereo and get speaker stands... maybe some posters and also blank cds... and the gym... and my genius ass broke my slide in my bong, so I gotta get a new one... and there is a damn package for me at the post office because mailmen are lazy as fuck in my neighborhood(and every other place I have lived) and they always drop off a note telling me to come pick it up. WTF... I dont pay for shipping to go drive somewhere and pick shit up... die die die!!! lol

Friday....
John B was great last night. Sick tunes all night. He ended up playing 50 mins past closing to a packed room at The Larchmont. Such good vibes. He played a lot of 80's remixes, such as Mickey... and then a NIN remix, and some Manson remix as well... and of course the electro... and then some classic John B, like "Up All Night".... it was nice.
Today I am gonna hit the gym. I am gonna put my computer desk together. I am going to cook a very simple meal and not burn any pans. I am going to go over to my friends house later and mix records, smoke herb and drink beer or vodka. And it would be really sweet if I had time to get a few speaker stands to set up my studio and home theater, but lets not push it..
Damn, I am gonna bust outta here before I stay online all day...
On a side note... I am feeling so damn tired and brain dead as of late. Maybe just a little anxiety from moving 3000 miles from home, or maybe its just I am burning the wick at both ends and need to not go out so much... I just wanna get in as much going out as possibel before I have a serious job again(and I know its coming because I worked HARD on about 200 resumes) Ah... I should take it easy over the weekend and early next week. That should improve my mind's clarity.

Had a wicked time in LA last night... Went over to a friends, drank many screwdrivers and madras... Then went to a club where Dj Friction was playing. Friction is a BADMAN. Upfront drum and bass selection, and one of a kind skills. Fast paced, flawless, pin point accurate mixing. Got a chance to shoot the shit w/ him when I left the club. He's headed right out to the UK to play today. What a life!
Can't wait to see John B this week, and I am still pumped about how good Klute was this past thursday as well.
Note to self... If I do not go to a punk show soon, I think I am going to get the shakes. I am really interested to see how different the locals are out here compared to back home...
