Tip of the day kids: dont close your cards after they're paid off when trying to rebuild credit score.
Earlier this year, my credit score dropped 80 points after year and a half i've been busting my ass trying to rebuilding it. Got 4 debts paid off. 2 of them being credit cards. Those 2 credits were closed by me after i had paid them off. Come to find out. THAT is why my credit score dropped drastically. Apparently no credit history documented = no credit to give score on....so now i'm back to sqare one.
