I am on my travels and its awesome! I have been to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and now I am in Chicago! I am eating a wonderful turkey sausage and cheese sandwich and drinking a vanilla latte at a bar that I am guessing is a coffee shop during the day? I love that its across from Starbucks and no one is going there. This place is a real gem. It's called the Map Room and the website says its for travellers. The walls are lined in maps and the people seem pretty chill, mostly working on computers. Its a block from the place I am staying. Where you at Chicago?!? Join me today, tonight or whenever!
We are headed to Kansas CIty next.
Then Omaha and on forward through Nebraska to Driggs Idaho and then Boise area. Then our new condo in Portland.

My trip is closer than a big sticky arm attached to a fellow bus rider. Packing boxes, throwing away trash. It's all happening. I have no job for the first time in forever and it still doesn't feel real. Monday I am Pittsburgh bound. Then Akron, Oberlin, Elkhart, Cleveland, Chicago,Des Moines, Kansas City, Omaha, Lincoln, Ogallalla, Rawlins, Salt Lake, Jackson, Boise, Portland. Exciting adventures await after every turn.
Felony Flats Repost sorry! Ok, I have searched and I can't find an answer so I'm sorry if I just missed it. I'm moving to Portland and I found a cute little place. BUT it's right near Lents park and everyone is saying RUN!! How current are the "felony flats" rumors/facts? First, can you tell me the exact streets you would consider in the "felony flats" and is it true that it's up and coming? I really can't tell if the people who hate it are just rich, snobby and racist or if its truly currently too dangerous to jog or park my car. I'm from Philadelphia and I'm not sure if the "bad side" of Portland (or outer portland area) is actually bad. Also, is it basically Gresham or no. I also hear not to live there. The place is on 88th and Holgate I think. Please give me current first hand knowledge! Thanks!!

Update. 18 days left at my horrendous job. I am still in search of an apartment in South East Portland for April. I have a lead on 3 jobs!! Today I made the BANG DIG of wraps. 
Made up this Veggie Wrap today!! (Obviously its veggie pizza with a few tweaks) Blended up(way more blended then I wanted- next time less!) celery, peppers, cucumber, broccoli and cauliflower (forgot my carrots and tomatoes!) ranch dressing powder, Neufchâtel (1/3 fat than cream cheese) on a wrap. Also great with a sprinkle of low fat cheese!!!

My valentines consists of leaving early (because Andrew have me his on call time) bubble bath, candle, bowl, chocolate mud mask, hot oil hair treatment! Dinner and then a movie!! Yay!! Relaxi taxi is headed to dreamland!!
