So I just got one of these for my herniated disk, and chronic fatigue/pain. I was really skeptical at first...but the SWEEDS did invent this and they are a sexy healthy people.
The price was a reasonable 30.00 from amazon.com. I got the nice green healing color, full length. It arrived last night in the post. I ripped it open and put it on the floor, immediately stripping my upper half of clothes off to lay on it the traditional bare skinned way.
Ok, bed of nails, right?? YAH! It was a little painful at first ... I was thinking for about 3 minutes, why the hell did I buy this thing? It SUCKS! Ow. But I stuck it out and the results were very unexpected. I meditated on it again as well, right after my hot shower with Cannabis Grape Seed Oil Muscle rub. The second time it was also a little uncomfortable.
As I sunk deeper and deeper into a trance-like state, my back and entire body started to warm and prickle/tingle. I could feel the Sciatica in the leg and back convulsing, but painlessly...almost like a massage.
This was the point where I was a little odd, after ten minutes of pure bliss and no pain I started to sob. For joy, for the relief that was lifted off me. The pressure spots seemed to draw the pain from my knotted muscles and tendons. I am a skeptic, but my tears are real and so is this peacefulness.
Who wouldn't want more of our own body's Oxytocin for peace and pain relief!
I am stoked about my new addition to my healing rituals. I would honestly get one for anyone I know if I had the funds! But the price is worth it. Worth it t sleep well, despite just having had HERNIA SURGERY. This is a miracle mat!

The Prophylactic Ilioinguinal Neurectomy in my Open Inguinal Hernia Repair is DONE! Big ass incision too... I feel cool, and bruised...lol. *Limps back to bed from the best shower ever....!

After 2 years of being blown off by doctors telling me my pain was in my head, I successfully JUST HAD surgery for a hernia!!! Two years is a long time to have that crap and have all these people give no compassion or respect. Gonna be a bit of a haul getting healed up, as it hurts like hell, but I WILL TRAP a bird in a month-or so!!!
