So it's been about a month and a half now that I've been on SG, and I have to say, I was pretty overwhelmed for the first week or two. SG is much different than I thought it would be, but it wasn't a disappointment. I didn't realize how nice this community was or how much you could actually do while on SG.

I've been very careful, since I'm still in my academic semester, to not get absorbed into the groups and forums, but I feel like I've been missing out since I haven't been on there often. I'm really good at becoming distracted away from my academic work, so I'm glad I have resisted the temptation.

But I wanted to post to let everyone know on here how much I appreciate the warm welcome, especially all of the gorgeous individuals, men, women, and individuals who go without identifying by our sex and gender norms, on this site who have said hello and opened their arms fully, accepting me into the group.
